Hello folks, I started vaping a little over 28month ago and it worked like a charm for me. No analogs since then. I'm down to 8mg since about one year and I enjoy vaping. Well, since I feel like 28 month 'clean' is something special I'd like to tread myself with a new ecig. I used since the beginning up till now the Ego-T and I kinda like it but I think its time for something else, something better. I'm not up to snuff whats currently new and good so I'd like to get some advise. Here is what I'm looking for. About same size as the Ego-T maybe a tad bigger if needed. No drip tip, should have a tank, adjustable voltage, good battery and most of all, no leaking :) Budget is around $250 for the set with charger and 2-3 batts, atty's etc....If the total would come in a Little higher would be fine as well. No idea why I cant start a new line in this text, wont let me...so sorry for the compressed text? :(

If you want to elevate to the next level, look into a mechanical battery mod and a rebuild-able atomizer. The down side is you will need to do a bunch of research on how to rebuild them, and they are not as "transportable" as what you are used to. The up side is a new experience in flavor and warmth and vapor. Think of this option as like having a fine pipe or cigar vs a quick fix on the go. There are some outstanding mech mods that can go as high as $500 yet others that are as low as $20.. Same with the rebuildable atomizers. All said, this route is for if you want to elevate your experience.

The Provari is a nice "in-between" you can try rebuildables atomizers known as "RBA's" with this but you can't experience the full potential of a mechanical mod and a low ohm build. (tech talk) Yet, you can use the Provari to still use what you are used to. I consider the Provari to be the "gate way drug" to mech mods.

:) either way good luck with your search.

I agree with the mechanical and rebuildable suggestion. Instead of a tube and tank, the Reo with REOmizer2 atty would probably be perfect for you. I've got the Reo Mini 2.1 with a Cyclone RBA on it. The REOmizer2 was out of stock when I ordered. It holds 3ml of juice in the tank and uses an 18490/18500 battery. The REO Grand is slightly bigger, holds 6ml of juice and uses an 18650 battery. I'll be getting one of them soon. They are very simple to use and maintain, they are also built like a tank. It's in my pocket everywhere I go. Never any troubles or leaks from it. Here is a pic of the Mini/Cyclone next to a Kanger650/Protank to give you a size comparison.

Thanks, the Provari looks good, the mini would be ok size wise.
What tank and atty setup would you recommend?

Any other suggestions?

If you want to start with something simple an IBtanked 22 or 19 ML XL tank (22 will match the outer diameter of the Provari, 19, the top of the inner cap) and some Boge/Smoketech/Ikenvape SR/LR cartos (depending on what you like). Just prime em up and go. No fussing/leaking/anything else.

I will toss out a slightly different mod to consider, the Saber Touch. They are available in 4 sizes and are the most customizable mod out there except for one off customs. With different battery sizes, in VV or Kickable versions, even a passthrough set-up that allows up to 11 volts of throat ripping power. Hundreds of available colors and made in the USA. I currently have 5 of them...lol.

Thanks folks for all the suggestions so far, I just realized that the last two years ( in which I did not follow the evolution of the ecig) things have changed alot....It seems like that the RBA's are the way to go, sub OHM mods, all kinds of different wicks and wires.....a Little overwhelming to me at the moment :)
I thought it will be as easy as buying a new starter set as I did 2 1/2 years back when I bought my Ego-T :)

I checked all end every suggestion you guys made and I'm tending more and more towards a box mod, like the REO.
It seems like that the round mods are pretty big in size vs. the box mods are a Little smaller.

I kinda like the REO 2.1 mini which does not have VV but I guess I could live without it.
The Reomizer 2.0 looks pretty easy to setup but I did not grasp yet if this will be a drip tip kind of thing or if the wick will be fed from a tank? sorry for the noob question.

Anything else out there similar in size as the REO mini with VV and suitable for a low maintenance and non-leaking tank setup?

Thanks in advance, it's much appreciated.

The REOmizer2 is bottom fed, you squonk the bottle by pressing on it through the hole in the door. The juice goes up a tube, through the bottom of the atty to the wick. Any extra juice is sucked back into the bottle when you release it. It sounds complicated but becomes second nature almost instantly. Making coils is the same, it seems daunting until you've done it. Also the RM2 has the posts spread further so you have plenty of room to work. Here is a picture of the mini with some of my other mods, they are all in 18350 mode except for the skinny Novice it has a 14500 in it. I think I use the Reo more than the others combined.

The Eroll maybe what you want too.

Looked at the Innokin MVP, seems to be a nice unit, something similar to the REO's, at least for my noob eyes :)
Not so drawn towards the Eroll though.

Get a list together then hit up youtube for reviews by pbusardo or look on his website http:/..................../wordpress/ in the review section. Phil is upfront with his reviews and they are worth the time to watch before buying. The MPV was suggested for example...

Just watched 3 hrs of his reviews and I'm even more confused that before :)
There are sooooo many different brands, systems out there....overwhelming....

If I were going to spend that much think I would have to purchase a Poldiac.

Looked for Poldiac but my search returned no matches....?

Thanks a bunch for the explanation, it is much appreciated.
How often do you have to press the bottle to keep the wick moist? Nothing worst tan a dry hit.

Im leaning towards the reo with the reomizer due to it's build quality and the big tank plus the strong batterie, seems to be a unit which requires not much fiddling around and is pretty much bullet proof.

However, any other suggestions?

Here is the 'must have' list again:

As small as posible
Tank system or bottom feeder, no drip tip or such
Long lasting batt (I know it's against 'as small as possible')
Leak proof

Thanks it, looking forward fo more ideas and suggestions.

I got the Vmod bottom feeder just over a week ago, went with the mini version purely for it's smaller size.

To be honest, it did take a few days to get used to squonking - kept on flooding the atty and getting leaks. But now I have it sussed out. Just tilt when the vapour/flavour drops off and give the tank a little squeeze. When you work out how to use it properly, it's superb. There's loads of different shell covers to personalise. I know some people might consider it the "poorer relative" of the Reo, but in my opinion it's great for flavour, vapour and long intense draws. The end decision is ultimately yours though :)

There are two kinds of bottom feeders, the Vmod is a tilt-n-shoot, the tube in the bottle of the Reo goes all the way to the bottom so no tilting is needed. The amount of squonking required depends on how you setup the atty. Some use a very small piece of wick so they aren't heating any juice before they vape it. That method requires more frequent squonking. I use a loop of wick around the bottom of my atty, this holds more juice but requires a longer squonk to saturate it. I probably give up a little of the purer flavor but I squonk less. You can experiment and see which you prefer. Another thing I forgot to mention about getting a Reo is the community over there. Tons of info with pictures and videos and if you ever need any help they practically trip over each other trying to help you out. The guy who makes them is also very hands on when it comes to service. These guys will hold your hand and walk you through any problem you might have, 24/7!

+ 1 (well actually +7) on the REO. Once I bought my first, their all I use. I wouldnt vape off a tube I don't care how much it cost, even if it was given to me. As good as a REO is, there's no need.

You owe it to yourself to step up to the REO and the RM2 RBA. Congrats bro.
