20 Drops Isn't a ML!!

I've always suspected this as well. However, if we're going by ratios only and all measurements are using drops, it's relatively fail safe, isn't it? I tested 100 drops of VG and 100 drops of PG and the volume came out almost identical.
Good point, as every dropper varies. Each liquid component has a different viscosity, so testing out VG versus PG will give you a different drops/ml too.
Use a syrange when ever possibe and when you must use a dropper find one thats as close as possible and prefurably glass because glass is much easier to clean and stick with that.

Use one mill syringes for measuring flavorings.
10, 20 or 30 mill syringes for nic, pg , vg.

I use a syringe to fill bottles w/premixed nic base, then drops to add flavoring. Not ideal I'm sure, but I thought a KISS method for me. And I think it will be ok now that I actually know the percentages. The bottle I used (ECX flavoring) took 37 drops to make a ml. No wonder my mixes were tasting FLAT!! - EUREKA!!
This is the calculator I was using that says 20 drops. But, it also says to check it.

Yep, it's way more than 20. I use PG & Alcohol based flavors and those came out to 45 drops/ml for me. I ran an average on 5 flavorings to get my drops per ml. I only use drops to figure out the initial % on single flavor mixes. I mix new flavors in single flavor batches (3ml) to figure out the strength of that flavor. I find the flavors are all over the place, some at 2.5% some up to 10%. It is a learning experience for sure.
You need a one mil syringe for flavoring percentages.
say you want /need to add 3% key lime as a secondary flavoring, right? and you're making just a 20 mil batch....

Tell me what mg you like to vape and what Ratio of PG to VG and I'll post an Example recipe using Drops.
I think it will be Easier to explain if we had some numbers to kick around.
That is the Downside to using Percentages as a Bases of Measurement in a DIY Recipe.

I will argue all day long on the inaccuracy of using drops for any recipe, ever.
it simply is never an accurate measure for different people to use.
Percentages are way more accurate when plugging them into a calc like ejuicemeup
but also just doing it in your head (which I don't recommend).
The universal measurement for recipes should be by the ml
