Sticking to your 3 selections, I would 100% go with the nemesis.

I had an astro, nice but not for me. ELA is a long wait and a biggish mod. Nemesis for 175 dollars comes with everything you need for pretty much any 18*** battery, atty and kick (if you choose) combo. Has big silver contacts and the airflow control is nice. Also, eats the gap on a flanged diver.

If buttons are a big concern, the Lux is pretty much unmatched but it's about $180 to get just the 18350 tube, switch and cap.

The ELA might be a little big, but it still looks really good with any 22mm atty, and the adjustable center post on that thing can't be beat. Plus, rhodium plated contacts never tarnish, unlike silver ones. Got mine a week or so ago and it's the best telescope tube mod design I've seen yet.

Rhodium is nice but 5 minutes a week is enough to keep your contacts nice. As for the adjust post, the posts one is nice, the nemesis one is amazing. Not because of the post but because the button then adjusts to compensate. You always have the solid tube look and no rattle. The biggest problem for anyone now is the wait involved with the ELA, except those people who want 22mm flush.

With the Polidac and a Genesis Atty, how do you get your wick to face the button??

I am in the market for a mechanical as well and this is a concern for me. That's why i keep coming back to bottom button mods like the ELA or NZonic V3.

I have a Nemesis & 2 Poldiacs amd I can say with confidence the Nemesis would be my recommendation for you. Atmomixani has pit out a great mod, first with the silver plated contacts with the wide bases for battery contact, the easy adjustability to your atty & battery and last but not least the superior customer service you get with your purchase. I do not own an ELA or Astro so I cannot comment on those, but I love my Kalafan, it is a great looking and performing mod.

i think its craftsmanship on these two because the poldiac and did are made by mmv....with the center post all the way down they are really close to the button range, or i just got lucky lol

Okay, great feedback! So sounds like Nemesis is the best out of my 3 choices. Now where can I find one? Eonvape is out of stock!

The Astro was on my list after watching Todd review it and he said it was the only mod that compared to the Nemesis in regard to voltage drop, or lack there of in this case. I did not like however that he had to shave about a mm off the 510 connection pin to get it to close flush with a button top. I did like the extension sleeve similar to my Launcher.

Sounds like the ELA is too big, also like the Launcher ... lol. I like 20mm and less for the most part. I just love how my P+ performs but maybe I will just pick up a Simplicity and call it a day. It is already on my $100ish list along with GP Piccolo, Gus and Zen 2 DX-490. Any thoughts on those 4?

Poldiac is not telescoping which is why it did not make the top 3. I do think it is the best looking mod available. I did look at the LUX which came in with the Roller for 5 & 6.

So speaking of the Roller. My Richman would look great on the matte finish. Looked great on my P+ just too big. I also plan to get a Kayfun 3.1 eventually as well, but after owning a # 20 (I know, no comparison, but) I don't know if I care for the design. I like bottom button and a little style. No offense Roller owners, it is beautiful but I got something for etched logo on the tube.

With all that being said, any new thoughts? Fury83 I have seen a lot of your posts and know you are very mech knowledgeable if you wouldn't mind ringing in on the lower priced 4 I mentioned. All feedback is welcome of course!

So it looks like Nemesis wins. Can anyone tell me where i can find one in stock? I still welcome other feedback for future buys.

Nemesis are tough to find right now, because they seem to be the current "flavor of the week". A member of our local group scored a couple of them, and I was looking at them at our meet up last weekend. I'll probably get one, when the current furor dies down. They seem to be a nice mod.
As for the Roller vs Poldiac, one reason I put the Poldiac ahead is because of the switch designs. Both are innovative, and work well. But the Roller switch is a bit more complicated, when it comes to cleaning or rebuilding. But the switches on both are butter smooth. The Poldiac switch is magnetic. The Roller uses a spring. Appearance wise; it depends what you're into. The Poldiac is almost too pretty. I have two. A Belial and an Anime. They are gorgeous. The Roller is a lot more "no nonsense", utilitarian looking.

my poldiac is exactly the same - when i put the center post all the way down, the wick on the did lines up pretty close to the button...

coincidence? i don't know, but i'm not complaining :)
