I use 190 all the time, mostly in DIY juice mixed at about 5%, but also in extractions as well Via a Soxhlet device. (Love Ebay)
It doesn't carry the colored parts (oxidized chlorophyll, ect)of the tobacco as much as the 80 proof does. It will leave the tobacco papery and dry texured as akine to the 80 P which is defantly a wet pulp after extraction.

You can and I have used a molecular sieve to remove the remaining H2O from the azeotropic mix of ETOH and H2O. The product I used looked like kitty litter. It absorbs the H2O out of the azeotropic (ETOH & H2O) solution

Haven't had any bad luck with premature Atty death (PAD) lol. I think they use silicon in the gaskets not rubber which ETOH will eat promptly.
I get a low nicotine level (3% would be the max anyway by weight) but great flavors. I then add bare nicotine and VG to it to make a tobacco flavored (Cigar, SNUS,swisher Sweet ect) Vape.

If anybody needs any high nic DYI juice or a titration kit or just want to trade notes PM me.
