I've been lurking here awhile and an avid cigar smoker. Like most cigar smokers I do not inhale and it's less about nicotine than puffing, blowing smoke and hand/mouth fixation. I've been vaping for about one week (after mail ordering an itaste mvp with iclear 30) so far started out with a menthol watermelon zero nic and enjoying that a lot. My goal is to reduce real cigar smoking to no more than 2 to 4 cigars per month with the help of vaping and have already started my tobacco extraction experiment like others are doing here.
My understanding is the safest vape comes from extracting tobacco flavor in PG. Extraction with PG agrees with stated procedures of some of the commercial businesses making and selling NET so it seem reasonable to assume PG does not impede taste or flavor and has the advantage of producing a safer vape. I am extracting two premium cigars as I write this (one Acid Blondie and one Puros Indios) using my own 3 day recipe. I'm about done with that process and later today will filter my PG tobacco extracts and cut with VG before sample vaping. Will post more when I have more to report.
