I switched out the button easily--once just used my finger nails on the ridges of the button and kind of pried it out.

Another one was tighter, but came off using my teeth.

So basicly it comes on and off just like on the metal ones correct?

Someone made it sound tricky..

Check out this thread and Roberts post: A Woody inquiry for Rob...Button covers | E-Cigarette Forum "The buttons can be changed I would recommend having me do it in most cases . I will make a video this week on how to maintain the mod I will touch base on the buttons"

And here: Woodvils finish pics | Page 22 | E-Cigarette Forum "My advice is to stay away from the button covers unless your really mechanically inclined . I am happy to switch them out for people if they wanted another color"

I will be honest I don't want people messing with the buttons . If there is a problem I am happy to service the mod. So far no one has come out and said my mods button is not locking or my mods not firing . I made the mod so you can replace the contacts . I didn't design the button for everyday folks to be taking them apart . I no some will and some wont have any problems doing so . Some will mess with it and off to robs shop there mods will go .

As far as the mods push button auto locking mine has never locked unless I did it myself . All my guys have used these same mods and theirs haven't . I tested these mods heavily before I released them

I just figured it needed to have even pulling tension, so you aren't pulling the button off with uneven force (putting too much force on one side of the housing of the button).

Came off relatively easy for me--similar to the aluminum reos. just because the button is recessed on the wooden ones, you can't get the right leverage to pop it off. so that's why I tried to pull evenly on both sides of the button and not pry it out.

disclaimer: don't blame me if you break your mod.)

I like the mod switch. I don't have any trouble with mine. I love this mod. I hope the next run will be just like it. I love the PLACEMENT of the switch too. I mainly vape with my left hand, but sometimes with my right. I like to be able to push a button all the way in to fire an atty. But I know you can't do that on Reos. I like the switch lock the way it is. I prefer that to an on/off switch at the bottom of the mod.

Ok guys, got bored with the brass button cover so I swapped it to the aluminum one. What do you think?
