Yeah my last order of one item made it to California in record time than sat there for over a week haha.

Most of my orders have multiple items though which is why I experience longer waits. My last order with them is about 20 different coil sets, I can only imagine the turn around on that one haha.

All of my orders are pretty large.
;)

The longest wait was 2 weeks to ship but we had 5 items that were listed as "ships in 7 days".
They were very professional and answerd every email.

I like 3f.
Good company.

I like them a lot too. They responded to both email inquiries I ever sent them within 24 hours. I trust them very much in their customer service/care. I dunno why I experience such longer shipping times than others but it doesn't bother me in the slightest bit or change my opinion on them, just something I seem to be experiencing that others don't lol. I experienced the same thing with other companies , maybe its because I live in a rural area with an address that someone may think is a prank address. (Even had 2fdeal email me before shipment to ask if that was indeed my address )

Even if the orders took more than a month there wouldn't be anything to complain about, especially with the prices they offer their products for.

Anyone know of any clone 20700 mechs out that are good seems like some of the new ones coming out are 18750/20700 will the 20700 fit in any of the older mods?

Just saw a review of the Admiral. I want to ask your opinion because one of the Broadside pros was that the inner delrin insulation and positive downside battery orientation were safe characteristics of the mod.

But the admiral when used with a 20700 cell lacks the delrin protection and I understand the cell still has to be positive down because there are no vent holes near the 510 connection, thus having a minimal wrap cut could cause a hard short.

So, do you still think this Admiral mod is a good option ?

When a battery vents it vents through the top of the battery unless some other portion of it is damaged. Yes, personally I'd rather have it facing down with a free path for gases to exit. Top or bottom vent holes would be safest, depending on battery orientation. Holes somewhere in the side could be blocked from swelling. Relying on enough clearance for gases to escape around the battery to reach vent holes is kind of a bad idea. Ideally the top of a battery should have a straight shot for gases to escape.

Some of the mods I own are tight enough a thicker battery wrapper is enough to block the rapid escape of gases from a catastrophic failure, which in turn could lead to further blockage due to swelling. Most of the newer designed mods I have offer pretty decent paths for gas escape. Many of the older ones I have not so much.

A mod such as the XXX or the new SubZero X are about as safe as a mech can be. Both offer great paths for gas to escape in the event of a blow out.

As for sleeving, it offers an extra layer of protection, but you should inspect your batteries regularly for damaged wraps regardless. Lack of a sleeve on the Admiral is not something I would personally consider in the purchase.

Common sense and education are essential to getting along safely in life, vape gear is no different.

Here are my thoughts:

Scenario 1:
Vaper decides to install battery positive down in a metal tube mech with no protective sleeve and the wrapper tears, but the Vaper doesnt know.
He presses fire button...
And no vape... So he presses again...a little longer ...and pop goes the weasle because every button press was a dead short.

I think the new "positive down" trend is an unnecessary risk and should be avoided without a sleeve to protect the wrapper.

I agree with what you've said. definitely not the best way to do things, and adds risk, that said the SZX won't even fire with positive up, SOI is the ones that started the inverted battery stuff from what I recall, I will say they did get it right with the latest mod. The shorty is a nice mod, but you better make sure your wraps are good if you follow SOI's recommendations. Don't have much choice with the X, positive down or it just doesn't work.
