The most DLish of the available options I’ve seen so far is probably the ammit original with after market bubble glass to boost the capacity. Or maybe the griffin. I’ve never vapes a griffin so I don’t know. With that you’ve got the “will it actually single coil?” factor. For the Ammit option you would need need both parts both of which would be hard to find

True but the CLR is kinda thpethial. :thumb: Figgered if let the OP decide for himself whether or not he considered the CLR a drop in.;)

Excellent point. I sure re-wick the snit out of mine, and have rebuilt just one so far.

The coils last forever so I haven't needed to rebuild any yet. I did the one because I wanted to try it - just to see...

I could never find a bubble glass for my OG Ammit! :( 3.5 mils = refill way to often :(
It is a great atty thou :)

Witch K-F's do you have? A K-F V5 sound like it could fit your needs

I have a few KF5s- but I cant seem to get enough juice flow without leaking. (A lot of intermittent dry hits!)
Seems like anything below .9 - 1 Ohm and 20 ish watts and its Russion roulette as far as dry hits.

What diameter coil? I use a big coil 3mm ID. The wick needs to be just rite, it should fill the well but not be packed. Too bad your having issues :( The V5 is the Gold Standard for 22mm RLH, IMO.
Watch a few videos on the Skyline, it has a more open draw than a V5 :) The deck is a bit small, but if built rite it performs well :)

I believe I tried 2 ro 2.5mm. I'll give a 3mm coil and try and play with the wicking a bit more.
(People that know me have said I've had issues for years.... but that's a whole different story!)

I'm mainly 2.5-3.0 diameter coils. It may be worth something, or nothing, but the earlier KFs (V2L+) usually have difficulty keeping up with me. I like them a lot, but I have to slow down my vape when using them, or I run into similar issues (even with 3.0).

It's possible you vape similar to me, which may require you to change up too, when using them. I don't have any of the later versions as I stopped after the V3 minis came out.

The older versions of the K-F, were meant to be MTL atty's! Up to & including the V4.
The K-F's were all ways tricky to wick properly.
The V5 is a more airy K-F, most of the traditionalist didn't like it cause it went away from the norm for a K-F IMO the V5 & V5.2 are the best K-F's, no surprise! I like RDTL hits :)
For a RDTL hit you need the wick to keep up! a Bigger inner diameter coil helps here :)
Try a bigger ID coil & Don't pack the well too tightly :)

Now you've got me curious! I hate it when women do that. ;)

Thanks Steamer. I'm okay though. Kind of "attied out", and there's already going to be one heck of a mess to clean up when I leave this place. ;)

I use the 2's sometimes, and they're my rock solid insurance in the unlikely event everything else breaks. :vapor:

N/P many better choices if the OP was looking for a 24 mm :)

The X Dream is a great 22mm atty :) The capacity is a bit low :( I had an "E" Clone & the coating failed, causing it to short out :( The coating if good on the "X" Clone :)

RDTL = Restricted Direct To Lung Hitter :)

You could skip the clone...
