I had the same problem Kimmie. The difference for me was I had the 901 in my pocket at the time and felt something getting hot on my leg (not a good idea - but I still do it). I just knew the atomizer was a gonner, but after putting in a new battery it seemed to work better than it ever had. I guess the extreme heat cleaned it out. I absolutley love my 901(s). The batteries are hit and miss though. I have 5 good batteries and 3 dead ones. One of the batteries is the one that burnt out and the other 2 are doa's.
