I'm fairly new to DIY, so bear with me please... "couple of different sweeteners"?

No Problem.

Just like everyone has a Preference for Nicotine Levels and PG|VG Ratios, so do people who DIY when it comes to Sweeteners.

Some people want something that is Slightly Sweet and some want more of a Candy Sweet. Also, there is the Entire Artificial Sweetener Risk/Stigma that has being going on since Artificial were Created and Lab Rats were Breed.

Me, I like Sickly Sweet, Humming Bird Nectar Tasting e-liquids. And what does it for me is Liquid Sucralose (Please do not confuse this with Splenda!). Other prefer Cotton Candy (Ethol Malto) as a Sweetener. And still others like to use something like Steva.

There aren’t too many DIY recipes that can't Benefit from some amount of Sweetener. So I would like to see Wizard Labs Carry 100% Sucralose in Water Solution.

Oh cool... The only thing I have used so far is the Wizard Labs Ethyl Maltol and Wizard Labs Sweetener(which I think uses Sucralose), and I just noticed they had Sweetener a few days ago. I thought EM was pretty much the thing to use.

I used Ethyl Maltol (Correct Spelling) when I first Started to DIY and just about gave up because Nothing was Sweet Enough.

I would add More and More and then my e-liquids just tasted like Chemicals. Sucralose doesn't do that. If you add More it Tastes Sweeter.

Like I said, Some people are happy with Ethyl Maltol. But if you want it Sweet, consider picking up a Bottle of Pure Sucralose (NOT Splenda!). A Small bottle goes a Very Long way because Sucralose is about 400 Times Sweeter than "Table Sugar".

BTW - I have seen the Wizard Labs Sweetener but haven't used it because it doesn't sound like it is Pure Sucralose.

"Ingredients: Artificial flavoring, propylene glycol, water, Sucralose."

I know it looks the Same but it doesn't say it contains "Artifical Flavoring".

Perfumers Apprentice - Sweetener

I was just about to point out that WL flavors are TPA, but actually that one is one of the FA flavors... So, if I get a bottle of Sucralose, how much should I start with in a flavor? Like 0.1mL I assume, and then work up?

btw, funny how people think Splenda IS Sucralose...

Hard to tell how much you would want to add. It's kind like Salt. Some people put 18 Grains on a Bag of Fries. Othere's keep Salting until the Fries are Covered.

I would Sweeten by Drops. Sucralose doesn't need to "Steep". Just Add, Shake and Vape.

Try doing a 10ml recipe, let it sit for 2 or 3 days, then add 3 or 4 Drops and see how you like it. If it not Sweet enough, and another couple of drops.

Just be sure to Write Everything down. That's the Key to DIY. Writting Everything Down.

Thanks for the help... And yea, I've already learned the hard way about writing down everything... Time to find a bottle of sucralose, and let this thread get back on track LOL.

And yes, It Drives me Crazy when people say that Splenda IS Sucralose.

Splenda is a Trademark.

---
From: Splenda - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Splenda usually contains 95% dextrose (D-glucose) and maltodextrin which the body readily metabolizes, combined with a small amount of mostly indigestible sucralose. Sucralose is made by replacing three select hydrogen-oxygen groups on sucrose (table sugar) molecules with three chlorine atoms. The tightly bound chlorine atoms create a molecular structure that is remarkably stable.[15] Sucralose itself is recognized as safe to ingest as a diabetic sugar substitute,[16][17] but some Splenda products may contain sugars or other carbohydrates that should be evaluated individually. Research as of 2003 suggested that the amount of sucralose that can be consumed on a daily basis over a person's lifetime without any adverse effects is 15 mg/kg/day,[18] or about 1 g for a 70 kg (150 lb) person. This was revised downward in 2008 to 9 mg/kg/day, or about 0.6 g.[19]

A repeated dose study of sucralose in human subjects concluded that "there is no indication that adverse effects on human health would occur from frequent or long-term exposure to sucralose at the maximum anticipated levels of intake".[20] Conversely, a Duke University study conducted on rats (funded by The Sugar Association[21]) shows that at sucralose consumption levels of 1.1 mg/kg (below the FDA 'safe' level) to 11 mg/kg, throughout a 12-week administration of Splenda exerted numerous adverse effects, including reduction in beneficial fecal microflora, increased fecal pH, and enhanced expression levels of P-gp, CYP3A4, and CYP2D1, which are known to limit the bioavailability of nutrients and orally administered drugs.[22] These effects have not been observed in humans,[20] and the relevance of this animal study to human health is unknown. The study has been the subject of some controversy, with experts disagreeing over the validity of its conclusions.[23] The other ingredients in Splenda, dextrose and maltodextrin, are listed as generally recognized as safe because of their long history of safe consumption.[24][25]

I think you will like it. Like I said, a Little goes a long way.

And I don't think the OP minds if we talk about Sweeteners. I think He/She has the Answer to His/Her Original Question.

Greetings
Yes, I wanted to start out flavorless. Basically, I want to try the minimalist approach and use as little ingredients as possible and still get my nic.

Thats a good idea really. The whole concept of quitting smoking is for less chemicals/less health risks. Good strategy imo.
