Just built my first 26 gauge twisted kanthal coil

2 strands 5 wraps came out to .5ohm
Using it in a stm rba kinda hard to fit it but it looks really awesome once I finished it

I noticed that the ramp up time is much faster than a 26 gauge parallel coil with same resistance and a much warmer thicker vape and can handle up to 40 watts

Is your id 3mm? I use twisted 28 and comes to .7 ohms but am interested in trying this.

I'm not sure of the Id I just used a screwdriver a little bigger in diameter than the one that came with the stm

It's a fairly large coil takes up most of the space in the rba almost touching both posts it's 5 wraps and comes out to. .54ohm

I'm interested in this. The other day I tried a dual coil, 2.5mm ID, 30g, 7wrap, parallel coil (not twisted) setup in my Goblin Mini.

It worked fine, but needed most of my DNA40's power, and I found it too warm a vape ( I do like a cool vape).

So I went back to my normal build, dual coil, 2.5mm ID, 28g, 6/7 wraps, 0.60 ohms. (single strand coils).

I find the single stranded dual's are a much cooler vape, produce at lower watts (27-30w is m sweat spot for this build), but are flexibile, in that if I want more vapour I can crank it up to 35w or more a still get only a warm (not hot vape).

Now I'm looking for a setup for my recently purchased Lemo 2, and as it's a single coil tank, was thinking maybe a parallel or twisted would work?

Anyone been doing single coil twisted builds that produce lots of cool to warm vapour at less than 40w?

I currently have 32g, 30g and my usual 28g kanthal.

Patience not being one of my virtues I went ahead and built my first twisted coil:

28g Twisted, 3mm ID, 5wraps, 0.65ohms

Vapes well at 30w and fairly cool, as I like it.

It's no cloud machine on my Lemo 2, but kicks out a satisfying vapour :)

My friend did a twisted kanthal 26g on his stm rba deck but the ohm is keep changing from time to time for eg: 0.4ohm - 0.8ohm. Why does it happen?? And sometimes the mod show "check atomizer"
