One of my buddies uses 26g twisted in his stm rba and he doesn't have an issue. I use 28g twisted in mine without issue. How tight are ur twists?

How tight? Hmm..he bought a 30ft 26g dual twisted. I think that's originally twisted from the factory. Well, he use normal kanthal right now with no issue. lol

You may also want to check the positive connection. the airflow intake for the RBA deck is the positive conductor. Once or twice, while cleaning, I've managed to loosen the airflow pin that anchors the positive side of the deck. Sticking a screwdriver through the air holes and tightening it back down solved that problem.

Oh, i will ask him to give it a try! Thanks~ ;)

Have him twist some of the regular kanthal he has and try it.

I think that would be too thick to screw in? :danger:

This is the twists I like to do. Depends on how I'm feeling at the time.

Tight, twist until it snaps from one end.

Loose, twist till it looks about right.

I just made these to show you. I used 28g as it was what was on my desk. I do the same no matter the gauge.

Oh yeah? I didnt try DIY before. Maybe will get him to try it. Hehehe
its not hard. i use a drill, some people use a rod and do it by hand. i have to use the drill because of my hand. i made a loop out of a paper clip and have that in the drill. i hook the wire and then grab it with pliers on the other end. hold it tight and start the drill.

Yup, i saw that in youtube. With drill that would be much more easier and firm.

So I just built another 26 gauge twisted coil

7 wraps around the tiny blue screwdriver that came with the subtank mini comes out to .49 ohms was a little bit wide so I kinda angled it a little but works very well ramp up is about the same but the flavor is a good bit better.

Wicking such a small diameter wasn't easy but it's a great build for the subtank mini the best one iv built yet. Vaping comfortable at 30 watts
