Morning Knights. Sorry I have been MIA. This ear thing has put me behind on here and IRL. Also, I have been trying to help the man friend finish his adult big wheel project. I've never heard such cussing in my life! Good thing one of my ears was stopped up. Just kept him on that side of me. Lol. Knights Cross has jumped in the lead as my favorite at the moment! Here is a sneak peek of the adult big wheel!

Been missing the past few day, but I'm back now... Had a problem with a tooth and got it pulled yesterday.... Feel SOOOO much better today!

I really DO need another bottle of Knight's Cross.... chain vaped it through the toothache and after so the bottle's almost empty :)

I'll 'TRY' to put it down long enough to review the other 2, then I'll write all 3 reviews on that site you wanted them on.

Also, got an email yesterday from 101vape saying my tugboat clone is finally on it's way and I should have that monday, so I'll have 3 RDA's to play with even though the magma will probably still be the best of them.

So I decided to conduct an experiment and filled up my unwashed Evod Glass that contained a few remaining drops of Blood Oath with Knight's Cross. The resultant liquid was still suitably "bloody" but had the viscosity of Cross. Surprisingly, the flavor of Blood Oath still came through quite well for much of the vape--the vanilla custard seemed to enhance the flavor. I kept the wattage at 6 and still got plenty of vapor. The instances of the burnt flavor were fewer but still happened occasionally--I wonder if this might be due to insufficient airflow because I noticed that I can almost consistently get the flavor when I put a finger over an airhole.

I know for a fact that the Blood is thicker than Cross.
It might just be the flavoring that's making it thicker.
All my coils & wicks are custom & I'm used to 50/50 (my normal choice if I get to choose).
The Cross was in a PT2 for only a couple of hours & went through about 1/2 tank & was working fine.
I emptied it when I loaded Cross into my Fogger V2 & reloaded the PT2 with Blood (I normally change the wick whenever I change flavors but didn't this time).
After about 3 hits I started tasting the Blood & about 6 hits of Blood I started getting dryish hits.
I reduced the wick & it's been working fine since.

Ok.. my bottle of Cross is really low (below the gold sticker low), can't stop chain vaping it... it's that good!

However... I did try the other 2 and these are my impressions of those thus far...

Blood Oath... great color for sure, but for me that's about as far as it goes. I've never actually had red velvet cake to know what I'm supposed to be tasting, so that isn't helping. To me, it tastes kind of like burnt chocolate pudding, I've tried it in the dripper and in tanks and although it's a muted flavor in the tanks, it's still burnt pudding to me. :(

Knight's Rum ... Really strong rum smell when you open the bottle, I wasn't sure what I thought about it until the connection was made with the butter rum life savers, it's almost identical. throat hit is a little harsh depending on how hard I inhale but overall a decent vape

Today has been the day for Knight's Cross. I'm not sure what to say. I was not looking forward to this one (I've never found a custard that I liked). BUT, it has a smooth flavor, nice mild sweetness and a natural vanilla taste. I think I could be persuaded to be a custard convert, with Cross. This will be an ADV for most. It has wicked nicely through a mini PT, a Kayfun. I even dug through my drawer of least used goodies and pulled out a top wicking Vivi & had no issues. I vaped on it so much tonight, that I gave myself a nic headache. I've reduced my nic down to 3ml/ml and probably should've gotten the 0mg, but hate to Beta test without nic - sometimes it changes the flavor a bit. I love the smoothness of this vape. The vapor production is average. I'm not a cloud chaser, but enjoy big vapor. Above 7.5 watts, it lost a little flavor for me. I think my sweet spot was right around 7.5 watts, with a 1.2-1.5 ohm coil. It is superb, when mixed with my usual fruity vapes. Much to my surprise, this gets a "thumbs up" from this non-custard gal. :thumb:

Knight's Rum... I get the butterscotch sweetness first but not overly sweet and sometimes I also get almost a coconut note there. I like it. Then I get the rum hit. This one seems to change a bit on me as I vape and sometimes I get the rum first and it is strong. It isn't over the top sweet, and that is good. I can't say that it is something I would pick up and vape if I had a choice for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Knight's Blood. I love Red Velvet cake and had really high hopes for this one. The thickness and the color were my first turn offs with this one but I muddled through. I am a Bobas fan and it is 100%vg and thick but I have no problems with it, KB was thick to the gloppy stage. I kept going though and the flavor was mainly a light creamy icing flavor that reminded me of a weak version of a Twinkie filling. Not a problem since I like Twinkies. Then got a hint of chocolate for just a few draws and it started to burn in my v tox tank. Tried it in the dripper with cellucotton and it wasn't a happy camper there either. I was using the little one that holds about 6 drops and it burnt before the dripper was empty. Coils all gunky.

Then there is Knight's Cross that I reviewed before. My first review still stands but can't say enough about this one. My bottle of his is gone... as in Gone gone. My son, who isn't a custard person... he likes the candy super sweet vapes like skittles and ecto... thinks this is wonderful and took my bottle. If I ever see that bottle again, it will be empty. This one is a keeper and one I would put the Royal Seal upon.

I spent some time yesterday with a return visit to Knight's Rum. I have to say that I really like this flavor. The rum flavor with the hints of coconut are delicious and the sweetness is taken just to the edge (but not over) of what I would say is too sweet. It is not an ADV because the intensity of the flavor really begins to disappear after an hour or two, but it certainly is one that can be returned to throughout the day. Vapor production is very good--better than Knight's Cross. The flavor is probably not for everyone, though. I can see why some may not like it.

One last note about Blood Oath: I liked the red velvet cake flavor that I got at low voltages. It is the promise of that flavor that makes me want to try it again--and this time succeed to avoid the burning. But how?

I agree about Knight's Rum... it is a good flavor, just not for me most of the time. Actually I haven't found any liquor flavors that I have much liked except a Hypno/watermelon blend and even with that one... less than 1 ml at a time.

Blood Oath actually reminds me of a food flavoring that the local donut shop uses in their BV donuts. They use a red velvet emulsion. It has the flavor but also the red food coloring that people started using instead of the original beet juice. Even if this one used the beet juice... beets have a high sugar content and will tend to burn.

Hello fellow knites! Just wanted to drop in with my thoughts!

The knites rum and knites cross are my absolute favorite flavors! The rum tops everything I have in my stash of around 40 juices. For REAL the rum is my most favorite flavor on my vape journey so far! 2 months in! I think one of the reasons I like it most is the "feeling" of it. It has a very heavy warm feel to it. And the taste is just AWESOME!

I want to give the blood another shot but everytime I have an empty tank I'm like nah I don't want to go through that again! Last time I put it in I didn't enjoy it much at all! Was not getting much flavor, Was getting that Burt plastic taste, but most of all it gets stuck in my coils forever and then and can't put a different flavor in next without thoroughly cleaning everything! I rinsed my coil out but that still wasn't enough. I had to soak it over night and the water was still red. Keep in mind I have dual coils so I guess alot of it is stuck under the first coil. I get very little vapor and throat hit my only guess is the thickness of the juice is having a hard time getting through the wicking properly.

I really hate saying this but if I had purchased this blood oath with my current set up for the price I probably would have been very unhappy! Which is a SHAME, since I love the other two so so much! With that being said I really think alot of my problems are coming from the type tank I use (mini protank 3). I feel like with the type coils I have the juice isn't wicking like it should and gets stuck? Also isn't giving me THE flavor you all are getting. I don't know but I see some of you are not having the problems I am but are using dippers etc. If I order a juice I would expect it to perform in whatever setup I am running with.

So are any of you using the same type tank I am and having the same issues with the blood oath?

Shame on you for letting a peasant steal your Knight's Cross.

The best response I've gotten from Blood Oath was with the 0.6ohm dual parallel Magma.
Good flavor & almost no gunk. Pulled the wicks rinsed with cold water & it was good to go.

Glad it worked for you, Heden. However, that does not help those who use standard tanks, as Sashim pointed out. (BTW, Sashim, my Evod Glass is essentially the same as a PT3 Mini--but I am getting decent flavor.) Joan may have hit it on the head regarding the sugar content of beet juice if that is indeed what King Dave has been using.

I am going to try Blood Oath this afternoon in an aerotank (to see if airflow adjustments help) and run it on my Vamo (which has a broader range than my MVP).

The peasant is the one that keeps my vape gear in good working order.

Blood Oath just isn't good enough to deal with all the problems with it...gunk, burning, color, thickness. I know some would find it appealing to vape something that looks like clotted pigs blood but I am not one of those and don't want to have to deal with the clean up afterwards. With this one being 50/50 like all the others then it has to be the flavoring causing the thickening either it is really thick or causing some sort of reaction and either way, just nothing I want to be vaping.

The juice needs to be good for a wide range of vapers using whatever they have and not something so specific. It needs to be good on commercially made gear and coil heads and it just isn't.

 I'm rolling in the floor laughing about this.... Joan, I agree about the color, clean-up, etc. I've reached for it half a dozen times today, but never followed through with filling a tank. And, forget about me trying it in the REO - thinking about cleaning the tube gives me a headache.... but, I do like the taste of Knight's Blood, primarily as a dessert type vape. I think I may coil the Trident tonight & give it a try in it tomorrow.

I want to give the blood another shot but everytime I have an empty tank I'm like nah I don't want to go through that again! Last time I put it in I didn't enjoy it much at all! I tried KB in a PT3 mini or aero mini (I can't remember which) & with the double coil. I didn't have problems with it wicking, but I'm going to try again with that coil & a plain mini PT3 to see if I duplicate your results. Just a thought... what type of battery/power source are you using? I'm going to give it a shot on a eGo & see if it maybe requires a little more 'oomph'... I really don't have a clue- I'm just kind of thinking out loud here. I'll post results later tomorrow. If you do give it another try, post and let us know how it did. Another thought - was your coil new when you tried Knight's Blood? I'm terribly hard on coils & that's what happens to mine - quickly - when I vape long & hard (my typical style of vaping). The hotter the coils get, the more they oxidize, gunk & lose flavor & the ability to vaporize.

:2c:I took a little break from Knights this afternoon and went back to a couple of my fave 28 Days vapes - Sea Siren & King's Castle (my fave ADV) & posted a couple of juice reviews & vendor review on the juiceboard.
