i understand the slower ramp for 28 gauge vs 30 gauge. The 28 gauge has more loops for the ohm I need, basically double. The flavor of the 28 gauge is really good. I only have 28 gauge and never tried 30. Will the flavor on the 30 gauge be similar with half the coil area but increased ramp speed and identical wicking?

Thanks for the help

I have researched this until total confusion. i understand hotter and reduced surface area but putting it all together. My guess is it is a happy medium between the two. I finally figured out the colors on the coil build chart. My current build is blue meaning, I think, a little cool. I am changing it tomorrow, still using 28, to more surface and hotter. Still within a good range. Quite a learning curve on this stuff.

I still don't understand where heat capacity falls in and if that should be factored in to the build with heat flux or if one should be considered more than the other. Researching on the forum but straight answers are difficult to find.
