About 3-4 years ago, wanting to quit my 40+ years of 2 PAD smoking, I got myself a Joyetech 510 and it didn't work at all. Filling the carts was messy, they never lasted very long and the batteries seemed to drain in nothing flat, sometimes less than 2 hours. I wound up throwing the 510 in a drawer and kept smoking analogs.

I lost a lot of weight over the past few years, 40+ pounds, began exercising much more and generally feeling great. My doctor applauded but confided in me that if he had his druthers he'd rather see me 40 pounds heavier again and not smoking. That really hit me and I decided to try to quit smoking again.

I had heard that ecigs had greatly improved over the past few years so I did some research and got a Halo G6 kit with some of their juices. In the first month I smoked only about a total of 10 analogs, then bought a Halo Triton and variable voltage battery for it and have been analog free for well over a month now. My experience this time with vaping is like night and day compared to my first try. The ecigs of today have better batteries, better carts, tanks (which I love) and attys. vaping is now almost effortless compared to my first go round when it was more like a chore.

OK, it is only a bit over 2 months, but I really think I am completely finished with analogs this time. The reason I think so is that the last several times I had an analog it was not a good experience. They didn't taste repulsive or smell terribly awful to me. It's just that they had no real taste at all, while the ecig juices (I have used only Halo so far) are all delicious and I can't get enough of them. I find myself constantly trying new flavors, mixing them, etc and always looking forward to the burst of flavor I know I will get with a vape while analogs do nothing for me and seem almost tasteless.

Congrats! This is my third try vaping, and e cigs have come a long way since the last time I tried them. I was only at 25 years of smoking but I dont think it matters at that point.

I havent hand rolled or tried a tailored cig since I bought my VV in Jan.

I bet it feels pretty damn good to be free of the analogs.

Congrat! This is my second time around. The first time was because the batteries were alway dead because my husband was using the same kit. once I stopped and went back to analogs, he followed. This time I told him if he wants to use an ecig he had to get his own. I also bought more batteries just incase.

So glad to hear another stories of making the switch way to go!
