This may be a bit premature, as I just received it today when I got home from work. I was so excited that it had finally arrived! So of course I ripped open the package and immediately put it to use on my eGo Mega batt (900mAh). I loaded it with only 3ml of my own recipe via GV of blackberry cheesecake (I wouldnt have been heartbroken to have had to toss if it this map tank didnt work out) and put 1 drop on the atty for good measure since I hadnt filled it to the full 5 ml capacity. It was a little tricky finding the holes in the cap to inject the juice through, but I'm sure that after I get my eye exam and likely a new prescription lenses, it will be much easier to locate them. Although since the top cap comes off of the tank assembly, I'm wondering why you cant just remove the entire cap to fill and drain/clean it?? I also purchased a drip tip since it's required for this unit and I have never been a dripper, other than to try it a couple of times only to decide that was too much trouble to do as a main vape.
First thing I noticed was the warmness of the vapor. Beings how I am still fairly new to vaping and this is my first mod, I had never really understood what people were talking about when they talked about warm vapor. NOW I do. The vapor is so warm and inviting and so full of flavor, not to mention the massive "clouds of vapor" it produces from what I consider small hits - about 4 seconds (sorry for the play on words but it really really does create CLOUDS!).
The design of the system itself is very good. It works very very well. My only concerns at this point are:
1. O-rings - are they available to purchase and replace should they fail on the tank?
2. the rubber atty cap where the holes for injection are; the wear and tear on this rubber cap may cause leaks after some useage.
3. the availability of the ce2 replacement attys. It says they can be replaced, but there are none listed on the site? $30 may be a bit steep depending on how long the atty lasts in there.
4. the ability of the juice to wick properly when the juice gets near empty, or do you just flip it over so that the juice washes over the bottom of the atty?
5. if I leave it laying down will it flood the atty and drip out of the drip tip?
6. my financial stability due to the fact that I am already in love with this maptank and since it looks a tad funky on my (what I thought was huge) tiny in comparison batt, that I may need to find a batt that fits my maptank! Not to mention I can see needing more than one or two of these maptanks because, ahhhhhhhhh sighsssss, it is so yummy and I think I may need one for each of my favorite juices.
