As long as you have properly primed the cart - suggest watching SnowDragons videos - and you have filled the tank, you do not need to 'swish'. As for how long they last, that depends on a variety of factors, but suffice it to say that they are the longer lasting way to vape than a prefilled cart. And I would start with the 6 ml, because if you like it you will want to get more. If you start with the 3.5ml, you will probably end up wanting the larger 6ml eventually, so might as well start there, IMHO. Also, I would suggest getting a couple of different carts for the tank. They come with a DC 1.5, but I would also try the 2.0 and 3.0 carts, too. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much, I didn't know they need cartomizers inside, I just got a closer look and read the description. Are the 2.0 the wow's or coolcarts? I was going to order some cartomizers also but didn't know I was really going to need them! lol! I use an iGo and sometimes do get a burnt taste with cartomizers but they never say the resistance in the description. I think I need cooler ones to avoid the burnt taste?

Does SnowDragon have vid's on the V4L site?

The carts that go in the tanks are different than the prefilled carts, altho they do look alike. The Wow and and coolcarts are not to be used in the tanks. The coolcarts are, as expected, cooler to the lips, do not get as hot as the WOW carts. You would order these for the tanks: E-Cig Tank | E-Cigarette Tank | Cartomizer Tank | Vapor4Life

and here is a link to Snows videos: TeamKR808's channel - YouTube

I use an eGo with my tanks, altho they can also be used with some of the other V4L batteries, too.

    Thanks K9. Here's my thoughts:

I like the 3.5 tanks the best with eGO batts for two reasons. The first is the size isn't too large so I can still comfortably carry it in my pocket and the second is because it helps me watch how many mLs I go through in a day. I also find the 3.5s easier to fill (personal opinion). Going with what K9 was saying, as long as you prime the cart properly, there should be no need to let the juice swish around or sit. Snow does have great videos.

As far as it "lasting". I change out the center cart in my tank maybe once a week or every two weeks. In my experience, a burnt taste comes in around that time just from constant use. I also use 1.5 ohm carts only. I love the throat hits :). For less of a throat hit go with a higher ohm (2.0 or 2.5) or the single coil carts. If you're still burning try a dual coil 2.5ohm or a single coil 2.0 cart. I hope this helps :)

For comparison sake, Coolcarts are ~3.0 ohm, and WOWs are ~2.0.

I like the tanks with the black ends because of how they fit the flange on the carto.

I prefer the 3.0 ohm carto's: they fire reliably on the Diamond and Titan series, but not well on the V4L EGO batts (On the EGOs I use the 1.5 ohm megacarts that they are supplied with).

My favorite juices are the V4L USA line, and frankly, I don't find "burnt" taste to be an issue. What I *DO* find is that they tend to clog with soot (particularly with STOGIE flavor). I can usually clear them with a paperclip, or a dental brush. After about 2 full 6ml tanks, the effort to clear often results in destroying the coils. I'm sure eventually I'll get to where I can tell by "feel" when that is going to happen, stop short, put the carto thru a full cleaning cycle and get some more use out of it.

Hope that helps; these are just my personal observations and preferences.
    Good Luck!

I can still use a blank wow cartomizer? What about the duel and single coil, are those recommended for the tanks or can I just go with a regular blank? I get the burnt taste usually with higher vg, I thought it could be the resistance too.

Thanks so much for everyone's reply, it is helpful but I may opt for the 6ml because I go through about 5ml a day.

Ah, thank you for answering the single or duel coil before I asked! lol!

With my Wow Nuport I have to change cartos about every 2 days - but with other juices they can last up to 2 weeks. I've been told by those here who know that this is due to the sugar content of that juice. I suppose it also depends on how much you vape, whether you are vaping that same flavour all the time, etc.

I don't like the tanks with the black ends because you have to seat the flange just right into the base of the tank. The silver ones seat anyways.

Before I take the plunge and try one of these out, I'd like to hear some opinions on the wic and burnt tastes? Do you have to constantly swish the juice around to keep it from tasting burnt?

Vapi, your initial question makes me wonder whether you are actually talking about tanks, or rather the clear cartomizers? These have no polyfil so they look & act a bit like a tank, but they have wicks suspended from the top, and the cartomizer is built in. From what I have read, early versions of these do have issues with the wicks not absorbing quickly enough when chain-vaping, thus burnt taste, and the need to swish the juice around to keep the wicks soaked.

I don't know what accessories you can get for iGos compared to eGos. Egos you can get nifty collars that you screw onto the outer threads, which makes even the 6ml tank look less chunky.

    Hope that helps.

I think it was the clear cartomizers I had to swish around. I used a tank once before, a friend let me try it out and you are a good guesser! lol!
