Thank you samsun and Classwife. Leanne, the work really isnt that hard. I really wish I had either the magnets, or the new boxes. Both packages have been accepted by the PO today priority shipping. I am hopeful the magnets make it tomorrow by some stroke of luck since its only 1 state away in Portland OR.

Leannebug, I vote that your juice order never received qualifies. Plus you generously donating yourself, even if I have to put myself atop the donor list......

Hey Wolf, I would really like to offer you some money for these boxes, at least the ones I dont end up using for the purpose of this thread. I will make sure that the first 3 donors get a discount of that amount, and thanks so much for your contribution.

Dangit! I knew I would leave someone out. Thank you Wolf. I added your name to the list :)

Complete box mod kits, including 2 14500 protected batteries, 145000 charger, 3.7 box mod with LED, and a Boge LR carto will be sent to the following people:
Leannebug
Gimante

I need LED color choices from both of you please.

A replacement box mod will be sent to the following people (Theirs broke, and had not received the replacement)
Skeeterkck
donnah

I also need LED color choices from you as well. Bright Blue, periwinkle, orange, pink, green and red.

Hopefully if there are others that have no recourse, have a broken bod, or returned a mod for repair to never receive it back, will come forward and let us know.

As I mentioned As I mentioned, I need magnets, or the new boxes I ordered in order to build these, as dont want to have to use a set screw to keep the battery door closed. I think it would get stripped out, and I know I wouldnt want to have to take a screw out every time I needed to change the battery.

As far as donations, My intensions are to ship these out first. I will ask for payment of donations only after the recipients receive their box mods.

I need some advice on how to handle the donations. I can either go down the list and use the full offered amount from each donor, in order on the list, or I could ask for somewhere around $5 to $7 from all 11 people who offered cash donations. We only need $64 to satisfy the needs of the 4 that have come forward. The first 3 people graciously covered that amount.

It would be a lot easier to just go in order, in case others come forward after I ship these 4 box mods out, and look to the next people on the list if there are others down the road.

Any thoughts?????

A big thank you to the following people for offering cash, juice, supplies, offers to help build these, etc. There were also others that said to contact them if more help is needed.

So, thank you to:

I am sorry if I forgot anyone. Again, we all thank you for your generosity. What an awesome place this is.

If anyone out there has no recourse on your purchase never received, please contact unsure, or myself, send some proof that you did not receive it, and we wil take care of you.

Steve

Gotta love this post and the list of those with the HUGE generous hearts. I knew after the first few PMs rolled in that whatever the number of folks we needed to help that the donations would be way more than needed. So help Steve out with how to distribute the donation offers. I can't say it enough times how proud to be a part of this great community.

I would like to see donations distributed evenly. If there's 11 people willing to contribute monitarily, let's spread it out.

Thank you 2k. Steve has his hands full so advice from those who offered will quicken the process and relieve one less thing he will have to do. :thumb:

Sorry guys. I'm missed that sentence is his post:( My bad. I retract my previous suggestion.

I think you bring a possible solution to light... what if the amounts 'donated' were lower? Then it would be spread out a little more, yet still leave some in reserve. The donor list is quite long, why not take the first 6 or 8 instead?

I am open minded with taking less from more people. How about $10 from each. The net cost for a full set up is 20. Box only is $12. I will cover the extra $2 to make the box only net out at $10 since wolf is sending those empty boxes to me. That will make the math a no brained. If anyone wants a breakdown of the net costs just say the word and I will post tonight.
