3.7 Box Mod Co-p of kindness! PLEASE READ

I can't speak for Steve but I think he will be selling mods but not at the price Brad was cause there is no way that he can but he will have a good price Im sure. NOTHING is being sold till this is over and I just got another person PM me today that we just found out about so we need to keep this open a little longer. We dont want to see anyone miss out and Steve isn't going anywhere. I'll talk to Steve and check in with the Admin and come up with a time we can close down and Steve can open up if its his choice. Again I can't speak for him. I want to see all are taken care of but this has to end. We feel we have served a purpose and really soon we need to go on. Besides its not fair to the donors to stretch this out too long.

I agreed to help those that had no where to turn. In the event Paypal does not honor their refund policy, it is possible that there is enough donation monies to help you all out. But I never promised that, as i have no idea how many of you there are, if in fact Paypal does not issue a refund. Time will tell, and hopefully fairly soon. Hopefully we start hearing from people that were successful.

As a registered supplier, I am allowed 2 threads at a time, but have CHOSEN to only have one, as it was suggested, as trust has been broken. Also, I was asked to not focus on any new business until I took care of the folks that have no recourse which am fine with right now. We will see how long this drags out. My intentions were to help people by building them for free, plus am donating a litte myself. More on that later in the this post. I will have a sales thread within a week or two. No moderator or administrater told me I could only have just this thread, but frankly, it has been time consuming enough to manage this, that I dont want to build any other boxes right now.

There is no way I will be matching the price of the other supplier. My 3.7 boxes will be under $40 plus shipping, and my 5volt boxes will be under $50 plus shipping.

I dont expect anyone here to wait to order one of these, when likely Madvapes can get you set up faster than I can, and for a few bucks less.

Madvapes sells a real nice boxmod. You will have to check their availability. They are just like the ones I build (That is where I buy my parts)

Or, you can buy a kit and build it yourself. The kit with holes predrilled is $8 plus cheap shipping, batteries from Deal extreme are about $5.00 for 2, and their chargers are around $5, with free shipping. Please note that the free shipping option takes 4 weeks to get your batteries by air mail from China.

So for around $20, you can build a box mod.

The net cost including shipping for each box donated is around $20, and that includes priority shipping. Here is how it is possible:

Small juice sample is donated. Cartos have been donated by someone (while supplies last) The box is $6 for me, because I order the parts, and drill my own holes. (The kit for $8 has holes drilled already)
I am donating the batteries.
The chargers are $5, and I am offering them at my cost.
The priority shipping is about $6.
I rounded those net costs up to an even $20, so technically I am paying myself $1 to build these, or if you want to look at it this way, I am donating $4 out of the $5 that the batteries cost me. I am eating the Express shipping.

If any of you want more details on building your own box, PM me your email address, and I will send you a Mad Vapes newsletter with awesome directions on how to build your own box.

So now eveyone knows the breakdown. I had gone over these details with Unsure over the phone the other day.

Hope this helps. By Wednesday, I should have all box mods shipped out. I had to order different boxes, and some magnets, and whichever arrives first I will use that method. Both will be here monday.

I will say this. If people get screwed with paypal, I want to know about it. I would be willing to continue my offer, and also would be willing to ask for donations again, but at some point, I am anxious to get my ordering thread going. But I will not do that until I have satisfied those that are due assistance right now, and I also will not offer box mods for sale, or even accept payment unless the box mods I will be selling are built and ready to ship. I usually build them up to the LED, and wait for the color request. Installing the LED takes about 10 minutes at the most.

I will be updating some things in the thread tonight. The recipients list, as well as the donor list. I have received payment already from 2 people who did not want to wait. Unsure I believe has some that was given to him. I do not really want to accept any more payments until these 4 or 5 people have thier box mods, and are hapily vaping with them. At that point I will then ask for Paypal transfers, or snail mail payments, whichever the donors prefer. At this point I do not have a cashflow issue, so I prefer to do it that way to make sure that you folks all trust me, as technically you have only seen a photo of 1 box.

I still have not decided which way I want to build the 3.7 box. The boxes I currently have will require magnets which will be here on Monday. I have been to 3 stores and nobody carried the rare earth magnets I need. I will have these boxes ready for the magnets, and on Monday I will also be getting a shipment of 20 boxes that will not require magnets.

(Basically the batteries need to fit in tight enough so that the strength of the magnet does not pull the battery loose)

The one I am using has the only rare earth magnet I owned, and its working nice. The new boxes I have ordered have an additional master swich on the front, which I think I mentioned was handy if you were to pop the box mod in your pocket.

If I like the way the ones with the magnets turn out, I will be able to ship on Tuesday. If I dont like the magnets, I will ship on Wednesday, and everyone will get a tracking number. I thought of posting tracking in the thread, but I think that would disclose the recipient's address, does it not?

i get my earth magnets from my local hobby store... they carry a ton of sizes and such... and i don't need to pay shipping to buy them.. if you have one of these stores by you i would look at them...

Thank you lrd3. I think the magnets coming in the mail will beat me to the hobby shop, but that is good to know. All the hobby shops around my area have gone out of business. I guess the 2 hour commute each way to San Fran keeps people from having time for a hobby. I am lucky. My commute is 8 miles, with no freeway travel, and never any traffic.

Its great we had one more person step forward. We also had one person step back. That person had only ordered juice and asked that they not be reimbursed for that because that person is a true giver, and does not want to stand if the way of others to get help first. Class act is all I can say. I could not talk them into changing their mind either.

Ok, heard back from the moderators, and it is not Kosher to have a link to my thread in someone elses thread. I went back and checked the "other thread" and the very last post is very clear to contact either myself or Unsure.

I am going to leave this open for at least a week, if not more, but my intensions are to open up my own ordering thread, or contest thread to get sales rolling once I ship out the initial set of boxes. Obviously that will change if many more come forward in the next few days.

From talking to Steve he will be offering a great deal. What Brad was doing (tho out of goodness imo) was going to catch up with him sooner or later. No one can maintain all he was giving for so little of price. I need to say this to his credit....He did it for quite a while and many DID get it all before things got bad.....enough said on that topic.
