so i have the volcano magma ecig, it's a 510 for those not aware.
the batteries just don't last me. it seems like they are good for all of 3mins before the power is cut down and doesn't vape as hard. i want that good 3 min punch for a longer time.
so i was going to mod my dual AA maglite with some AA's that are rated 3.7v. the issue i have is that the trust/ultra-fire tend to have crap reviews. if at all possible i rather get them from a store like radio shack where i can pick them up and not wait on shipping. (as a side note, i rather use a AAA mag but i dont have one, haven't been able to find 3.7v recharge batts in AAA, and the total cost i figure would be more than 25.
the other thing i was looking at were batteries like CR123.
but then that means i would have to figure out just how big they are and make something from scratch. w/e the project is i want it to run no more than $25 total.
right now i have 3 cellphones that i don't use, all rated at 3.7v for the batteries. what would be the easiest way to make something that will connect to these batteries but let me also still use the phone to charge them?
two of the cells are the same and the other is another brand and the battery is a little smaller. they all have the three prong connector in the same spot though. i was thinking maybe just hack one of the identical ones because even the small battery will go into the larger phones and power them if you hold it in place. then just cut some foam and make a sort of holder for when i use the smaller one, if i would even use it.
any help would be great.
also i'm going to be doing the rca mod for all my new adapters so i can quick connect. that's going to be a fun mod.
