Well ok, so it's my first mod, Big deal right? WRONG!!! I took identical hits off of an ego battery and the GLV supermini, and there's a huge difference.

Let me start by saying that I really like the ego at a whoopin 3.4v max. It's great, nice and potent without having to take a 10 second draw like a 510 auto or a blu. Battery lasts forever and it works very well on ce2's and LR atty dripping.

Now I try the same LR atty and ce2 cartos/tanks on the GLV and it's more potent (more TH) Better flavor (really brings out some flavors) and plus, it's so much cooler to handle.

I was convinced for a while that I wanted 5v but now, who needs it?!? If you like the ego and riva you'll love 3.7 and you really won't need anything higher in voltage. I just wanted this thread to be a little public service announcement to anyone who is "convinced" they need to jump to 5 or 6 volts.

That is simply your personal preference and it's good that 3.7v works for you. But thousands have found that the 5 volt GLV2 or a good variable volt is preferrable due to the warmer vapor and in the case of a regulated boost circuit VV, the consistency.

I agree tho HV not for me and I like 3.7v others love their 5v & 6v vaping. So its whatever floats your boat! One is not any better than the other..its only what you like that is the best.

Oh I agree, and frankly the only reason I didn't get the 5v GLV2 was because I use ce2's and they're not HV friendly. I can certainly see how higher voltage would have its advantages, but I'm very very happy with a true 3.7.

Glad you finally found a mod. I've read a few of your posts while you've been trying to decide what you might like to have. Getting in to equipment that you appreciate will help you stay away from tobacco.

Voltage choice just sort of depends on the day for me. I spend a lot of time at 5.0v, just a little bit of time at 6.0v, and quite a lot at 3.7. I even use my eGos a few times a week. - I don't really have any opinion as to what is "best" because my different choices are often driven by my current activities. If I'm going to be doing the physical part of my job all day, I like to have a battery that will last all day in a mod that has a low chance of being damaged. If I'm going to be at my desk all day, I don't mind swapping batteries a couple of times or even carrying a less durable mod or whatever suits the mood. At night when I'm home, it's purely driven by mood. I like to tinker with this stuff.

Thanks Six. Now that I know 3.7 is the way to go for me I'm gonna stick with this supermini and eventually get an 18650 monkeybox joosebox. I was strongly considering the empire mod, but I'm glad I went with this instead, it's just so damn cool.

<<<--------------- See avatar pic. Blacked out "ninja" supermini, Black and stainless gooseneck, and a 2.8-3ohm GP-SSR. Good times! Thanks!
