3 Devices in one

Well my bare bones Protege was in the mail box today and it was quite a surprise too as my shipping notice was received last night.

I already own the PT and have three adaptors for it. Thus the reason for ordering the Bare Bones kit. So I feel like I got three new devices today. Now if my batteries come in tomorrow I will be able to actually use it. LOL>>>

From left to right is the M401, the 510 and then the 901. This is going to be nice. Never had a 401 manual battery. It was not too good at higher voltages because it would give you a burnt taste real quick. I like the 401 because I can just dip it in the juice I have in a contact lens case. Works much better than dripping I think. Less chance of flooding and the flavors can be blown out of this small atomizer pretty easily.

Anyway just wanted to show every one a size comparison for the three I have. I think the 801 would be just way too big for the Protege... and I like the 801 at 6v anyway.

You can also use a 306 on the 501 adapter and dip it. I've been switching around all week trying to decide which atty I like best 306, 401, 510 or 901. I like them all. Each has it's good and bad points. I didn't get the 801 adapter because I don't particularly care for the 801 atty but I almost feel like I should get it just to complete the set.

I am especially happy to test the combinations without having to buy kits & chargers for them all. My mood dictates which atty I use.

I'm thinking about trying a cartomizer on the 901 adapter. I think it would solve the whole dripping & driving dilemma.

This thing is really cool Cash... I am real happy that I finally clicked the "Checkout" button the other day. I am going to call mine "Mini P" It looks like the Prodigy just shrunken. I really like it and like I said I feel like I got three devices today. Just can't use them just yet. But they sure are nice to look at... lol....

You will need something like this for the cartomizer to work... There is no air flow in the current adaptor.

Well if your in the mood to get enough vapor to choke a horse and run through a nice chunk of fluid in a hurry by all means get the 801.If you get turned off by the soft tip carts eastmall sells the hard tip ones.Some people complain about a funny taste from the soft tips but it doesn't bother me.Just ordered two of the passthrough's at the new price and if the quality is anything like this protege it is still a reasonable amount.My new favorite The PS Protege.

I actually have tried the 801. Just prefer the warmer flavor of the 901.

I pray that your batteries arrive tomorrow, I only have the 510 since I have a ton of 510 atomizers at the house. I figured if I liked it I would purchase the adapters later. Honestly though I don't think anything could touch this 510; the throat hit is nice, and warm, also the flavor I am getting from it is much better than I have ever experienced before. Granted I am using juice from a different supplier now so it could be the juice too, either way this thing is the outstanding.

I've been vaping on this battery non-stop (enough to get me light headed, like literally I refilled my PTB modded cart twice already... good thing I dropped from 24mg to 12mg) and it has not even remotely dropped in performance, it is still hitting like a fresh battery.

If you have a 901 adapter these

DSE-901 Cartomizer Adapter

will work fine with kr808 cartomizers.

I ordered my protege with the 801 adaptor. I been using a kissbox since last December and I'm just used to the 801. Not to mention that I have almost 50 spares. I tried the Dura, didn't like it (it seemed too hot to me) and sold all my dura stuff. Briefly flirted with the janty stick, but it's just not reliable. I love the protege

The 801 added to the protege doesn't seem too big to me, it's just a tad longer than the kissbox, see photo below:

how is the 801 atomizers? I was thinking about getting the 801 adapter and trying the 801 and 201 atomizers, but I really like my 510. I'm into having heavy flavor, but the throat hit is a nice plus too.

I guess most people don't like them, but I love 'em. I don't like vapor to be harsh. To me, the flavor is definitely there.

To me the biggest plus is that the atomizers last for months. I used one for over 4 months, and the only reason I'm still not using it is because I'm using the one that came with the protege because it matches color better.

I'm waiting for the Prodigy V2. I read somewhere that the Prodigy V2 will use the same adapters as the Protege and the Passthrough. If that is true, I will be one of the first to pre-order it for sure.

I just made my first puresmoker purchase when the new passthroughs were released the other day. I can't wait to start vaping with it.

You made the right choice for sure. I also went for the PS PT first and just a few days after receiving it I ordered my Prodigy. When I saw the quality of that Pass thru I had to have it. And I was not disappointed in the least with the Protege either.

These three devices cover every base for me. I have options galore now. I can use the Prodigy with three different atomizers and at three different voltages. The Pass thru can be used with three different atomizers and so can my Protege. Awesome!!

Do you see a big difference in vapor production between the Prodigy & Protoge using the 801 atty? I really like the looks/size of the Protoge so I am wondering if the extra voltage makes a big difference.
