TMK the Protank 2 (PT2) does not accept a dual coil head. A 2.5 ohm head is available for the PT2 and work well for lower wattage PVs (provari/vamo/mvp etc). Before I got my kayfun that is what I used.
If you decide to go with the PT2 I'd recommend that you get an AFC (Air Flow Control) base to replace the standard base. This will stop atomizer leakage from getting on your PV 510 pin and allow you to customize the PT2 draw.

Yea I'm seeing a lot of that too I just hate to see spending the money to end up dropping it and it break cause I can be pretty clumsy but do like not having a burnt taste in my mouth
Mvp 20 watt would be perfect then. Wifey is the clumsiest person I know. Her mvp 2 has survived a year of her abuse.

Feel free to check out torture tests on youtube.

The 20 watt is supposed to have the same build construction.

At only a couple bucks more than the cheapest istick (which may not come with everything you need at that price), it's a sound investment for a year or three of vaping.

I can do that.

Or you could get the CurrentHotToy Nautilus mini (full size is OOS) $23.99; BDC heads $9.99; BVC heads $12.99

ETA: Sorry. Links would have been nice.

That's a great start!

Just remember to get a back up tank when you have the extra cash. You'll want one for different flavors at some point... and you may need one when you drop it one day.

Ask me how I know. LOL

Another option would be to use a box with a reliable buck/boost converter. I have bought 4 mvp 2.0s for people and they all sing praise. I've used them myself and they're great little devices. And now there's the mvp 20 watt out. Goes from 3 to 7 or so volts and 6 to 20 watts IIRC. I don't recall where, but I did find it for about $40.

Methinks that would open more options for tanks.

Yea I'm seeing them for $35-40 I'll read up on them

youse silly. i meant a shopping list for the OP!

Hey Owsley!

Why the IStick?

As for why the istick mainly the wattage plus the 2200 man plus I like the size easy to just put in shirt pocket and not have a ego style sticking out I figures with the adaptor it would make travel easy

+ 1 on the MVP. I have 2 of them and also 2 isticks. In my opinion you will be happier with the MVP. I normally build my evod/protank coils @ 1.8Ω I have to build them at at least 2.8Ω for my isticks and still get an occasional burnt hit even with the device set at its lowest setting. :( I love the size and feel of the istick with its rounded sides. The MVP is a bit bigger and a bit heavier but it is a good solid device.

Yea that was my plan can't never have to many back ups right now we are using a $20 PIKE ego style e Vape which does the job so figure we'd use those when mod has to charge

+1 on the MVP also, it's a nice solid, small mod easy to use and charge, I like my MVP 2.0 even, which may be seeing some sales as the MVP 20 watt becomes the newest fad.

I also have an iStick, which works very well for me. I don't ever use it for evod or protanks or nautilus or anything with stock coils on it. It is a high power device and shines when used with a 1.0-1.5Ω dripping atty, or a Orchid V4 or any of my Genny tanks...(any of which I would NOT recommend for a new vaper) The small size and easy controls are a magnet for many vapers to buy it, without considering the topper that they will user with it, and end up disappointed.

Having you owning and using both say the MVP is a better choice is helping me with my decision looks like I need to read up more on the MVP:)

Mvp fits in a shirt pocket. That's how my dad usually carries his.

The mvp 20 has a flush 510 and comes with an ego adapter also.

It has a 2600 mah battery too.

So that's covered.

Only thing left so far is if it appeals to you.

It is a little boxy looking but maybe a visit to Jwrap and nice tank and a cool looking drip tip It will work as they say looks aren't everything its what's under the hood that counts

There are some very cool leather sleeves for MVPs on Etsy. Pricey, but leather sleeves last forever. I have most of my mods in them. Do you like glass drip tips? They aren't as fragile as people think. I know of some very nice ones for $14.99.

That put me off for a while too. But once I vaped on one I started buying them for starter kits for the whole family.
