Definitely check in on the mvp owners group thread in the variable voltage sub forum. Everything you could possibly know about an mvp is there. ;)

Also check out pbusardo videos for both units on youtube. Keep in mind they fixed the tough button a long time ago.

Sent from my device.

Oh I will cause I haven't a clue on variable voltage and will need to know

That's all you need to say. Definitely skip the istick. If it's as fussy as beck said, you would need to have a pretty good working knowledge from the start to keep on top of it.

Look nice but doesn't say if its metal or pastic

Shape: Skull
Finish: Chrome/Gold/Bronze/Copper
I imagine they are aluminum.

They are the same tips as the ones you linked to from My Vapor Store. When you look at as many vaping sites as I do, you will start seeing the same products over and over.

ETA: I suggest you go back to My Vapor Store and read the reviews.

I've found that *solid* stainless steel makes a very good driptip. It doesn't seem as cold in cold weather as some of the aluminum ones I've tried, and though it will warm up nicely, it doesn't get so hot that it burns your lips. Otherwise, ceramic, thick glass/pyrex, and then acrylic/delrin/plastic, in that order, make the best driptips. I'm about to get a new anodized, and though I haven't liked the ones I've tried before, because of the heat issue, this one is one of those tall "genie" tips, and I think the length of it will keep it from getting too hot.

How about the surgical steel ones? They look good and I like'm for like 2 days then start tasting metal like crazy!
Been kinda watching for wood tips but haven't ran into them yet. May just make a couple here one day soon.

desertvapes.com has wooden tips, along with a whole lot of others, and their prices are excellent too.

Hey do a Google search for wood drip tip and view images there's a bunch to choose from

I'll look into Andria's suggestion and look again from there if I need too. Thanks!

stabilized wood drip tip... Spalted Japanese Maple Root 12-8-14 - Molehill Mountain Art Drip Tips

i just love the spalted maple.

Problem with those, they cost almost twice what I paid for my Vamo, and even a bit more than I paid for my vv3's... the ones at desertvapes.com are from $.95 to $2.45 -- correct pricing for drip tips!

The most I've paid for ANY drip tip was $6 -- because I got my gun-metal Ming at the madVapes shop when we visited -- it would have been $3.99 plus 3 dollars shipping if I'd ordered it from them, so I actually saved $1 by paying $5.99 at the shop!

The anodized I'm about to buy is $6.95, plus shipping... but I've been looking around for a red driptip that would look good with my red ARO Winder, and this is one of the best I've seen, so it's worth the extra cost, to me. But I just can't see paying mod prices for a driptip; I won't do it.

no problem with those drip tips. just a choice to be had.

the mod i want (and i'm on the waiting list) that can be had in that same spalted maple (or similar... it's real wood, so every piece is different) costs $400... and there's no electronics.

i don't know what kind of budget Ray has. even if it's not right for that drip tip, a little eye candy is always appreciated unless someone is posing it as their status symbol and looking down on others.

all that said. i won't be buying one until i have that mod (2 years or so) and i will use the off cuts from the stabilized piece of wood the mod is made from to send to them for matching up with the mod itself. it will be my show piece.

just to add... i've ruined about 200 drip tips each under $6 or so. my tips that cost a little more are still around. so there's that. (don't use rubbing alcohol on acrylic... they don't play well together)

value is something we place individually. correct price is a misnomer. correct price for you or correct price for me are relevant terms for discussion. maybe not when it comes to Ray, though.

Also, no vinegar on jade... those REALLY don't play well together. I got some extremely fine grade sandpaper to smooth it out again, after the vinegar... then I dropped and broke the stupid thing.

When I first started, I really hated all metal tips -- but after breaking enough glass, ceramic, acrylic, and that jade one, I'm seriously re-thinking my "no metal" position. They might be a bit cold in the morning, but THEY DON'T BREAK! Which is critical for a klutz like me!
