you should all notice improvements already since this last shipment, the button is now tighter and doesnt wiggle , the led is now smaller and the cut out itself for the led is even smaller making it leaner and its a hair smaller in total length as well. Its a better product now overall and im sure youll like them alot.

LR attys and cartos work fine.
No problems with 1.5 Ohm attys at 4.2V

Here's mine along between a 650mAh eGo and a GG Slim:

This photo suggests to me that there really might be some boost circuitry. The 3VV eGo here is about same length as eGo with an eGo Booster. But if there is some boost circuitry, why doesn't manufacturer step up to the bar and say so?

No I can tell you that the 3VV eGo is shorter than a 650mah eGo with an eGo booster.
Its actually the same size as my eV 900 mah Torch.

Do you have a eGo Booster? If so, how does eGo Booster, at high, compare to a Riva just off charger? And if no Riva, an e-power. And if no Riva and no e-power, some non-PWM device that is nominally rated at 3.7 V? My suspicion is that practically no difference with eGo plus eGo Booster and non-PWM device just off charger. (And that 3VV eGo, just off charger and in high, is about same as well.)

i would think its boosting , it has a chip inside, and its controlling the voltage, so its either boosting or programmed to step the way its doing it.

Seems as if no reason to do this speculation. Chip, no chip, 5 chips or more. What does manufacturer say? Does it say - boost circuitry?

All I got is 650mah ego, ego passthrough and 900mah ev torch. I don't own a riva or e-power but I have used them. However I'm not going to talk to much about another company's product in the GV threads (I don't want to disrespect these guys and their hard work).

I will say this though, next rev or in the next couple of months on this 3VV ego I will be getting one as my ego + booster + 3ml BD ce2 mod w/drip tip is quite long (About the length of 1 1/2 pens).

No disrespect intended. But best mouse trap should win. We are just the mice here looking to avoid the traps.

they say its boosting and has chip but the rest is proprietary

Thanks for info. But I'm think the "chip" is smooze talking. Kind of think the "proprietary" is smooze as well. Do they think no one is going to look at what is inside? If they admit to "boost", maybe they would give you idea of "how much" boost. Numbers don't suggest much (if any) boost. But let me add, IMO, no boost is not necessarily bad. They may simply have used to advantage what was there before for "effective" boost..

i dont think they mind at all, when you buy one you can get into it and tell us exactly whats going on & what makes it tick.

From what i was told its a chip and programmed to boost/control the voltage, they wouldnt get into specifics of what does what.

OK. Sometimes we take the smooze and say - OK.

Then - I've bought two. Without minding, will they tell me now?
