I speak Spanish with a cartoonish Chinese accent, not intentionally, just how it comes out.
I learned German from a Japanese teacher, Herr Nishihira. I don't know if I learned it with a Japanese accent, but probably did. :D

The funny part, at least when I was 14, was that Herr Nishihira had a silly little Hitler mustache.

You are born & raised in Denmark? Generally what I see for people where English is not their first language, is they can get the words right (usually) but not the sentence structure. A little like seeing Yoda typing. But I don't see that with you, so I thought maybe you were a transplant from elsewhere.

I was just talking about language today with a co-worker. I have been working a lot with a website client in greece and he speaks/understands english well but the sentence structure sometimes is of, he leaves words out or adds wrong words sometimes. I have been working with him so much i am starting to leave the same words out and make the same mistakes...lol

I have the same thing with our group in India. They have an interesting way of phrasing things. One of my favorites, where we would say something like "I'll get it done", they would say "I will do the needful"

Bingo...I was born in Canada. Burlington, to be exact, so my first language was english. Furthermore Danish and English arent so far apart in sentence structure. We moved to DK when I was 5, but always talked english at home for many years, then it became sort of half eng half dan, and still is....Cus english has more exact words to describe things, and alot of new things are just called the english name.. fx iPhones dont have a danish name. You would prob almost understand a danish commercial for something like that cus of all the english words we use here..

haha thats not danish.. for shure.. the text in the bottom isnt either, thats swedish or norwegian.. how do you find things like that?

But immigrants do say our nordic languages are tuff. When they laern enough to carry conversation, they have funny sentence structures also. If they were to say Hows your head feeling today.. theyll say.. How it feels on that head? hehe

It certainly is a unique language. When I see it written I cannot even guess at most of the words. Whereas those that are based off Latin I can usually get the gist of.

What kind of group do you have in India?

My company provides financial processing software. Used to all be done right here. Then we got bought by a bigger company, who of course decided to outsource and lay off half of us :nah::grr:. So programming & testing is split between us and them. We mentor/supervise them while working on our own projects, and in many cases end up redoing their projects ourselves too.
Have I mentioned things are stressful at work?

Was it something I said?
So all you need to do is insert a bit of code in their financial processing software that takes all those fractions of cents, and instead of rounding them off, it transfers them to my account. Nobody will ever notice, because it's just fractions of a cent at a time. Well, at least nobody that hasn't seen superman 3, or office space!
