hey folks been vaping for about 3 weeks now and im new to this fourm as well and im looking for some advice. So i started with a KR-808 batt. then quickly moved on to the Ego C batt 900mah with a Vivi Nova V2. Currently looking into a entry level vari volt pv. as well as an atomizer (interested in starting dripping for flavor testing).

So far I've been looking at the Vision ego twist as well as the Kgo vari volt. was wondering if there are any other suggestions for entry level vari volts out there that i can look into. and right now i dont know much about atomizers to be able to pick what would be good for flavor testing.

would definitely appreciate the feedback thanks.

Well you pretty much got it all down, both of those are good VV's(vari volts). The eGo twist is a very good starter VV but isn't as accurate as the Vision(not sure about the kGo as I have not researched this as much). As for dripping atty's(atomizer) a joytech would be your best bet, they last for ages. Just be sure not to dry fire this often, it will get clogged soon then you would like. This is for any atomizer, the more you dry fire them or let them run dry. This will drasticly decrease the life expectancy
Hope this helps T41CK

You also may want to consider a more "advanced" mod, They're a little bigger, But they have a little more functionality, For example, you can check the resistance on an atomizer (Easy way to see if it's dead/ What voltage you should set it at), and you have a wider range of voltage.

They're not priced that badly either, A VaritubeX/ lavatube 2-3 kit (either regular or mini) can be had for under $70. For example: iVape

Plus you get much more battery (I can get 1-3 days out of a charge on my Varitube X.)

thx lapoleon, ill look into that gogo spinner to see whats up with that. yes i was debating upon getting a bigger IMR battery mods that had the ohm check feature like a provari, or one of the V-maxes out there. but i had figured id start with the spinner and KGO first for a few weeks before i start with those mods. trying to not get too far ahead of myself right now. and plus i wanna really get the hang of dripping too with LR and SR atomizers and feeling out voltages by feel or taste.

I'm also vaping for 3 weeks, well in 2 days it'll be 4 :)
Tried to figure out which one to take, damn overwhelming... so many devices, so many reviews... In the end narrowed it down to Provari, eVic and Vamo. After watching Pbusardo review on Vamo, I ordered it. The price is just right for entry into VV and I do believe Phil's review.
Dropped out of eVic because it was OutOfStock when I made up my mind. Maybe next time.
Provari is idolized... I can get into fanboy band wagon, but the price jsut didn't seem right to me.
Vamo clear winner in price and in Phil's review it's a winner in other categories.

oh yea no doubt i do see some favoritism with the pro vari, but after seeing Pbusardo's review on it and seeing the numbers when he tested it i cant deny it worth getting eventually. but at the same time there are many other APV that can do the same and some even more like the Vamo or Seigeli Vmax. so lately i have been leaning in the direction to the vamo and Zmax as well for the past few days, but haven't seen anything on the eVic yet so ill look that up soon. but ill make my final choice when i get to the point where i feel i'm ready for APV like those with ohm meters and watt/volt options. still not familiar with Ohms law or watt Vs Volt. so ill give it some time.

I think Pbusardo's next review is on eVic, I think this what he said in last video? Might be wrong, but it's coming from him.
But there are some eVic reviews up on youtube. And discussion in APV section, I think it's where I've seen links to youtube reviews.
Was looking at Zmax too, but the Vamo price won in the end. And I think vamo has more features? Well, as I said, at some point I was tired of countless reviews and just ordered Vamo... And also the option to use single short battery is very appealing, I do want to smoke outdoors and not sure how I'll feel walking around sucking giant stick... so yeah :)

There's also Caravela mod... the looks of it are just epic...
I think my next device will be something either like caravela or e-pipe, just for looks :)

I'm feeling I'm getting carried away by how many I want to buy lately, this is really a huge downside of e-cigs... :(
In 3 weeks I'm actually over my regular month budget for analogs.

cool if Pbusardo is planning a review on it then imma just wait till it comes out to make a final choice, i just like seeing his number tests and how the mod holds its power while the batt drains. and i was also looking into E-Pipes as well after i saw Grimmgreen's review on the jazz pipes wit the kick option. that might have to be my first unregulated mod before i get a silver bullet or bolt. and yea dude, i feel you on getting carried away with buying all this stuff. You wouldn't believe how much i already spend on my starter kits and cartos, its almost overwhelming.

but i feel like i need to catch on with everyone else for some reason, plus watching all these reviews doesnt help much either. just makes me wanna buy more stuff. o well at least i enjoy every moment of it. plus its keeping me away from the tobacco stuff.
