30 gauge for micro coils

I have a Russian 91% on the way and all I have on hand is 30 gauge kanthal. Can I use it to make proper micro coils?

I have a Russian 91% on the way and all I have on hand is 30 gauge kanthal. Can I use it to make proper micro coils?

Resistance will be high and the coil will be a little, ah... fragile compared to 26, 27, 28 ga wire. You may want to twist two strands together... effectively cuts resistance by half.
