306 atty questions

I've been working with the 306 atomizer for a week or two and it's been just okay--sometimes the flavor is a bit plastic or burnt tasting. I don't believe it is a Cisco--would that make a noticible difference in the taste? I'm using organic vaperite tobacco juice.

Also: I'm using it on an ego battery and it leaks juice like crazy--kind of a hassle to constantly wipe with a tissue. I see that Avid Vaper sells a shield--would I need an adapter?

What type of drip tip are you using? I have a clear Cannon drip tip and it's awful when it comes to leaking. I do hear that the white Cannon drip tips do not leak, however.

I have much better luck using a regular ol' run of the mill 306 drip tip. It will greatly diminish your leaking issues. Also, don't drip more than three drops at a time. Yes, you will need to drip more often but at least you won't have a leaky mess all over your hands.

Thanks PL--I'm using a Cherry Cannon drip tip---I think I'm going to go with the shield for my ego with an adapter for my mod.
