Drip tips go into the atomizer or cartomizer, not directly into the well.

From the top of the connector (that the screw part of the atomizer goes into) to the top of the well is about 1/4". A very SMALL portion of the atty/carto disappears into the well. Most of it sticks out (and the drip tip goes on top.) The well is just there to catch overflow/flooding so it end up contained rather than coating your Chuck (and your hand.)

Take a look at the user pictures on this thread to see what I mean.

Uh, yeah, I get that Poeia but I'm talking about the 306 atomizer, not a 510. When a drip tip goes on a 306 they seat all the way down on the bottom, in the well. Cherry vape's cannon drip tip has a wide base and I was wondering if it can seat all the way down. Check out their site if your confused...

Wouldn't you have to use an adapter to put a 306 atomizer on a Chuck? Jeff doesn't offer the 306 as an option. If so, you should get enough lift that it would fit. If the 306 threading matches one of the other connectors, I don't know.

Nope. The 306 is the same threading as a 510... They're pretty bad .... Avid vaper has the best LR 306 atties. They have a special that has 2 of these with a drip tip of your choice for 20 bucks. I haven't used a LR 510 atty in months!

Can anyone else chime in with an answer that has used a 306 atty?

Hiya Quake! Ok, I think I have to have one for the ol' handbasket then.

The base of the cannon... how large a diameter? What mods have you used it on so far?

Can't you come down to the next VIP social and bring it? LOL On the 17th... see the VIP forum for more details. Would love to finally meet you! DO PM me when you decide to come down and slum with da Veepers. :) We have an awesome new place for socials.

I don't know about quaker but there's a 50% chance I may come. I work til 2 but I'm curious to check it out. I've already ordered my cannon drip tip and their new Ming tip for the 510s. I should get these Wed or Thurs so just in time for the meet. So I also just ordered the 306 to 510 drip tip adapter from AvidVaper. This allows you to use any 510 tip you have on your 306 atties. Seems pretty cool....

I will certainly try, it's just real tight up here right now. Will definitely pm you by fri or sat to let you know if I'm coming. Should have my dingleberry mix supplies in by then too, can show up with that for folks to try if they haven't.

Anyways, the base and the tip end up being the same diameter at the very ends of it with the contoured shaft so it looks like a fancy cannon barrel. As far as what I've used it on, I own 2 chucks and a journeyman so all 3. :) I primarily use it on the jman but it does fit just fine on a chuck inside the reservoir. In fact, it's actually a really good fit.. it almost makes it look like the chuck was designed for that tip especially and not as a juice overflow area. As far as the actual diameter.. em, I don't have a measuring device handy so I can't say, and cherryvape doesn't have the dimensions handy.

Quake, is this for a 510 fitting?

Dingleberry??? What we use to call those pompom ball trims that were big in the 70's (kind of for draperies) but folks used them in their cars for interior, see it from the outside decorations? And the other description is, well makes me not think one would want to vape it.

I am still just using chucks, I do have one made without a well and it has a five volt regulator on it. (Very nice actually, though I am still a six volt freak, what can I say, I am not so concerned with the fine undertones that can only be achieved by hitting the perfect VV spot which is known as 4.6-4.8 rather just the habit and hit but then I've been known to just buy Busch lite 30 packs when money is tight too.:laugh:
You need to catch us all up on the accessories you are using and what you like most. Your opinions on these things do carry some valid weight around here.

The Cannon is designed solely for 306 atomizers which work on 510 threads (which makes it nice!) it's basically a 510 without the metal casing around it, so the tip fits over the entire atomizer and creates a better seal than most other drip tips so it doesn't leak as bad as some 306's can. Again, the only real hangup for some folks is the size, it's a pretty sizeable mouthpiece, like a small cigar size. I use it almost solely on my journeyman so I don't have to worry about battery life. A Joye LR 306 is just perfect with an IMR 3.7v battery, and last forever.. the boge's aren't as reliable.

As far as dingleberry it's a diy flavor made by JD Vorr that he posted his recipe of, it's a great flavor with varied citrus and berry flavorings in it, so I had to make some... Of course the term dingleberry is used in a different fashion, referring more to the slang for bits of TP you know where as a comedic title. The only downside is his normal go to black raspberry flavor is different now, but it's still a good overall flavor. It's a gross title for a great liquid, I won some of the original off his show on ElixirTv and was hooked. :) Everyone raves about his fuzzbuster, but I'm just not big on caramel themed flavors for mainstay vapes.

The cannon is the best/only way to truly enjoy a 306

As for fitting all the way, yeah, it doesn't. That has nothing to do with the battery mod, it's just the design of the cannon. It fits snugly on the atty, and is sealed tight, despite the millimeter or so of space between the bottom of the cannon and the bottom of the 306.
