I recently bought two 306 atomizers. I have never used them before, so I bought one LR and one standard resistance. I was anxious to try the LR so when it came, I was careful to follow advice I had seen about not burning it dry. I primed it with 5 drops of liquid and fired it up. Obviously needed a break in period. HOT and HARSH. I have tried using it over and over for more than a week. Cannot get it to cool down. It burns all my juices instantly. The standard works great, but no better for me than a regular 510 atty. I am using them both on regular E-go batts. Any advise, or should I just expect that kind of performance from LR306?

Are you using a clear drip tip? You will use more juice with LR so make sure that you keep the atty really wet.
i find 306 attys don't give as much flavor as the 510's ymmv.
but you could try a different resistance LR... they come in 1.5 or 2.0 ohms... i like the 2.0 because it's not as hot and the taste is better.

Avidvaper.com does sell 1.8 ohm 306s. Those are my LRs of choice, though I also like IKVs 2.0.
You could also try a more robust juice. Some weaker flavors tend to get washed out and overpowered by a LR 306. I have not experimented with juices to far outside of my favorite 80pg/20vg mix but thicker juices tend to wick slower on the the 306. If you are using a high vg ratio juice try something more 80/20 on the 306 and see if that helps
