Do people usually vape with an 18350? Is that standard? The couple times Ive seen people vape with mods theyve always been in 350 mode...When I use a mod in public I usually use it in 18650 mode but people keep saying stuff about how big it is, but it just feels comfortable like that, I can get my whole hand on it. Holding a mod with an 18350 in is annoying.

What do you guys think? What do you carry? Does it change depending on where you go? Just curious

I use 18490's in my SVD, I don't even own any 18350's or 18650's

Of course I've had four 18350's and two 18650's (AW IMR's) in my cart over at RTDvapor for quite awhile, I just keep forgetting to order them when I have the spare cash. I think I will have to do that this week, as I'd like to use 18650's at home, 18490's while out running errands, and 18350's when I need a more stealthy device (like in the movie theater).

Last few months I've been carrying a stingray in 18350 mode topped with a K-fun, like the size as it fits entirely in my shirt pocket. I also carry spare batteries which I swap out after about 4 hrs. Also carry a back up, Sentinal M16 topped with a K-fun in 18350 mode.
At home I Run Sigelie Z-max, Chi you, Nemisis in 18650 mode, I feel they're just too big to be carrying around.:vapor:

I use AW IMR 18650s and 18490s. Not enough mAh's in an 18350 for me. :glare:

Nemesis in Hybrid 18650 Mode /w a Kicked 18490. vs VaporShark DNA. I'd hardly call these huge.

It depends upon the mod that I'm using and the situation that I'll be using that mod.

Most of the time I use an 18350 in my Provari Mini for easy portability and being more pocket friendly when out and about. I just carry a couple of spares in a plastic battery case in the other pocket. I also have the extensions to use an 18490 or 18650 battery in the mini.

I use 18650's in my two mechanical Silver Bullets, used mostly at home with my rebuildables. I use an 18350 in my Gripper when I need to stealth vape.

I regularly use 650's and 500's all the time for my regular vaping needs. I do have some 350's but don't like using them cause they seem to die at the least opportune times.
I build 1.2-1.4 ohm coils for my regular vape and I can heat up a 350 in a mech rather fast and that's scary to me, not hot enough to cause problems but hot enough to notice there could be a danger lurking. With the same build a 650/500 don't heat up.
Something else that could shy you away from 350's is that they have a charging lifespan of few hundred charges before starting to wear out and die, so a 800mah 350 batt would require 2 1/2 times the amount of chargings than a 2000mah 650 would thus wear out much faster.
I can't be bothered to have to stealth vape in which could require you to use 350's. I use my 350's now in a crappy epipe to dryburn and test my coil builds.
Each to their own and some like the 350's for their size, but I don't.

I rotate through and charge eight 18650's and carry my Provari or my Sigelei Zmax at home or when I'm out. 18350's last me an hour to an hour and a half, so I don't normally use them unless I need to be really stealthy. It's 95% 18650 ... 5% 18350 when I'm vaping at home or away.

A fresh 18650 and an extra in a plastic battery case can last me over 24 hours, vs 3 or 4 hours for two 18350's.
