I've been fascinated by anti-smoking ads like the one below, and whether they work, since reading Lindstrom's work on them.

He flashed adverts at smokers - and found some surprising results (see our blog for details).

So I've put together a list of the 37 most shocking anti-smoking adverts I could find, and I'd like your opinion on whether they work or not.

I am having a tough time being able to post or FB so I'll just leave my reply here. I absolutely agree with zerominusone. The add with the lady smoking a cigarette through the hole in her throat always bugged me a lot but not enough to make me quit. E-Cigs are the only reason I am Analog Free today! If I won a kit I would give it to my husband's friend who can't afford an e-cig. That being said, I believe that Katie Mackenzie should win a kit! You can do it Katie!

"I was spending $150/month on analogs." You should try living in the UK. The price of a pack of 20 is around £6.00, 88% of which goes to the taxman. So if you're smoking 20 a day that's around £180 a month, or just under $300 in US dollars!
