I like how they FORGOT to drill the tiny screw in the very bottom. SO no use of a needle tip here. They can save themselves 5cents by leaving it out altogether. First impressions of the vape is, it's pretty good, has nice clouds but the flavor is nothing to write home about. (insert kayfun here for flavor fullness) If you use too much cotton, the top cap wont sit down where it needs to. I do really like the plunger action to refill it. I'm finding the easiest way to fill it is to use a small screw driver and push the plunger down, then fill it up and release. That works really well. Also some e-juice on all the o-rings makes the action smooth.

btw, mine says serial number 0165. I still might take a grinder to this. And I KNOW the drill press isnt far behind either.

I haven't used mine yet as it's running through the cleaning process. I checked the fill screw and mine has a hole drill through it. It's tiny but it's drilled straight through.

So let me ask this do you have other normal drippers? reason i ask is because you talk about the taste... so are you saying that your kayfun has better taste than drippers? cause essentially thats all this is .. a dripper .. the tank underneath really isnt goin to affect the taste.. its gonna b all about the build...

I have to partially agree. The main reason is usually build but now some design plays a difference with taste too. I know my origen clone has way more taste than my omega clone. I preordered the tobh and I heard that has some amazing flavor too.

Kayfun Nirvana!
The above guys are right I'm sure about taste. I just got this 3d and tossed a simple build in it. I haven't gotten to try different builds in it yet. At this point....When I think of a fully saturated vape, I gotta give it to the kayfun and russians... Something about that conical chimey that compresses the vapor and turns it into a flavorful almost wet vape. I think the kayfun drip tip on this little 3d helps with flavor. And yes, I am new to drippers, so after being spoiled with the kayfun who knows?

I am looking forward to seeing some of the builds posted here buy some of you expert drippers. ;-)

any updates on leaking?
sorry to keep asking the same question, but the leaking thing is my main deciding factor. sure i like the
hybrid-ability of the 3D, but if it leaks badly, i will get the origen.
im wondering if the 3D leaks just from placing it down horizontally, or if you really need to jostle it around for liquid to come spilling out.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know I dont care about the stupid 63cents, but not replying or taking 2mins to make a phone call really chaps my @$$. At this point I'm kinda surprised you got through to them. Don't be too heartbroken, the 3d is good, not great. I'm really glad I didnt shell out the $160 for the real one. After vaping this thing now for the last 5hrs, the wheezing noise from the air hole is starting to crawl under my skin. It doesnt need all these stupid undersized holes. It just needs 2 big airholes 180degrees apart from each other. If thats too much, just close them off a bit. Then it needs 1 other big air hole thats not perpendicular to the first pair. That one can be for single coil setup. As it is now, in dual coil setup, you are stuck with itty bitty air holes. Tomorrow I think it's going to the drill press.

These designers REALLY need to take their creation to the bathroom, Have themselves a seat on the can and say, "Does this REALLY make sense the way I built this?" After 15mins of alone time, things tend to become crystal clear. Thats the quietest seat in my house!

The thing is it's easier to enlarge a hole but harder to make it smaller...so instead of coming with big predrilled holes...the user can do it.

May sound stupid but since air flow changes so does flavour, different RBA's will provide different flavour yes the flavour doesn't change but our perceptions on it due to how the flavour is delivered.

Yeah.... What He said... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I like the real small opening of the kayfun drip tip. If you ever smoked cigars, you would know about the 3 different methods of opening the end you stick in your mouth. V-cut, guillotine cut or a needle through the leaves. The different cuts are a matter of personal preference. I preferred the V-cut, because it would catch some of the off tasting oils along the corners of the v. The needle would deliver a pointed stream and a hot smoke... just slicing off the end would be the airiest draw of them all.

I havent had any leaking outta mine yet. If you dont fill it like crazy, it should be fine. I'm just wishing it held more juice, I dont need 11ml like the russian big, but I dont think asking for 2.5ml is asking too much.

Thank you :)
What kind of motion have you been giving the atty? Meaning, are you keeping it on a desk, or pocketing it and toting it around?

I'm wondering how travel friendly the 3D can be.

Depends how long your travel is and how much you vape. I don't lay it on its side on purpose. I do pocket it in 350 mode. When I have been pocketing it, I close off the air hole. When I drive I set it in a change holder on my center console. I know it would leak out the air hole if left it open air hole down on a desk. So it hasn't really been bothersome. I am running a single on the 3D, for 18350 mode @1Ω. Whereas with my Origen, though I love it for flavor and vape, I tend to run duals and when I fill it, I have to be conscious of leaking out the air holes… but once it is vaped down a bit and its just the wick holding liquid, it is fine. For a while I used cotton like Twisted has in the reservoir(s), but I found I didn't really care for it.

I run my Origen with ecowool doubled up into a 2mm vertical "micro" coils with the loops over the center post. Works wonderfully.

I'm having USPS issues with this delivery. It's been bouncing back and forth between my local PO and one about 20 miles away. It had a tracking status of "Missent" which I'd never seen before. I have to assume this is all because of the short postage paid by the seller.

I have been ordering off of the internet for over 10 years and have not seen this happen once before. It now shows that it is once again back at the wrong PO for the 3rd time. Coupled with the postage problem and a potential 14 inches of snow heading my way, I don't foresee myself vaping the 3D clone anytime soon.

Check their blog. They didnt put the proper postage on the packages so they are all getting sent back and re-issued with the correct postage.

I think this has better flavor than a Kayfun type. I tried vaping the same ejuice in both the kayfun and 3d - the 3D brings out more flavor IMHO. My experience is drippers, when built right, will also give more precise flavor.

My favorite build yet::::

With rebuildables it really comes down to coil build quality, provided your RBA's are both using the same materials when built. Granted, they both are of high grade materials and I would expect them to both have the same output, as far as vaper quality and flavor.

Alright so after hounding my local post office and the supervisor my package appeared today after they kept saying they didn't know where it was .. it did have 63 cent short on the postage but who cares after the hassle i think they just delivered it... i suck at building cause i am really new... so i have been trying to get good build on it for a while now i finally got a decent one which is whatever comes with it silica i think and a small coil i got from vaping greek which is just a standard coil with like 3 wraps.. i think my wick is a lil short so i have to kinda tip it when i plunge it ..after messing with it i have gotten the flavor and vapor to equal my Kraken but my Kraken has a micro coil on it with a cotton wick... i too think that vertical coil setup is nice and would be the best for wicking and flavor so i will try to get that going to.. overall i am happy with it and think it will be great once i get my own inadequacies in building out the way.. i like it because it does sit hybrid looks great..and since the flavor is matching my kraken with a regular coil and silica compared to micro and cotton i am sure i am gonna love the flavor.. now i am just waiting to get my Squape ( The Better than Kayfun Atty lol) and figure that one out...i will be Set...
