I drilled the holes to about 2.8mm. Never looking back now haha
How do you like that 4nine, jizzles?
^yeah, I've been eyeing them since I heard about them. I'm surprised that a floating battery isn't more common.
I went crazy trying to get a dual coil to work right in the 3d for about a hour. I got it perfect one of the first tries, but common block had spun around to block fill/squonk hole. Tried several more times.. but kept having one lead the other. I'm going to get a washer for positive contact. Until then, I'm keeping it single. It's still waaaay easier to just rinse and rewick a kayfun than this.
Anyone else have problems getting dual coils perfect with this? Next time, I'm thinking about taking out block, getting everything lined up and tight.. then putting it back in for positive contact.
nice, too bad it doesn't come with a 510 adapter.... I have to thank you, I would never found this. I search for "rebuildable" and FT spelled rebuildable wrong for this device
Man this thing is awesome! Not sure who makes mine, but I bought off a guys shop on EBay, not sure of name (I want to say I saw VapeTech). Running it hybrid on my nemesis, using a 7 wrap tiger coil with two strands of 28ga kanthal.
Couple things I'd like to see improve, sorry if this was already mentioned but I didn't read through the whole thread: larger res (mine only actually holds 1ml), a little window to see how much juice is left, dual fill/drain screws, and anyone else having issues with checking ohms? I have the 510 adapter but every time I put it on the ohm meter with adapter, it always reads one. So I have started doing my patriot at the same time as my 3D and wrap them exactly the same. So I have the same dual coil setup on my patriot and it's running .35
Can't express how much I love this thing, especially when driving!
They posted a video on their website about a possible solution when using the 510 adapter and not get a reading...might help
Thanks, I'll check it out!
