So, 310vapers came through very fast and I got my new 'toy'. I had a new pair of Ultrafire 16340s on hand - gray outer wrapper - and charged them up.
Went to put them in the 3VO - a snug fit, for sure - to find that the battery tube will screw onto the switch, but not fully. If I screw the tube on too far (without forcing it) I get the three-white-flash alarm signal from the switch when the fire button is pressed. Backing it off half a turn restores normal operation.
But what's the deal? Are these particular batteries a smidge too long for the 3VO?
The 3VO itself works superbly and looks well - great price too!
