I WIN, okay I win on the animal count that is ..
13 indoor cats that adopted us..
6 rescued cats from this spring/summer that are awaiting homes..
1 dog who now thinks he is a cat..
12 glo-fishes that don't really glow much..
1 outdoor cat who's owner seems to be missing in action for last few weeks.

ANYHOWS, ever have one of those days were you are wondering why your atomizer won't work as you're watching the LED light blinking on the battery and worse your brain didn't put 2 and 2 together for over a minute lol

You even beat me, I have 3 dogz, and 7 ferrets. But 2 summers ago we had 4 dogz and 36 ferrets so I would have won then.
Glad we don't have that many ferrets anymore, very hard to get them all out every single day and what a mess they made of the house.

Sylvie, I think you win. Thats a lot of animals. I have 1Aussie, and 2 cats all rescues and it is plenty. I dont think we could afford anymore

I gave up girlie stuff like new purses/shoes/makeup/etc. so it isn't too bad money wise considering I would of bought those things instead.. People think we spend a lot because of so many but really we average about $125 per month unless I decide to get more toys they don't need and all lol.. Pricey part though is having to get them fixed before giving them to a new home which is always around summer time so I save up for it and the humane society gives us a discount to help out too.. So we don't spend too much in the end and it keeps me happy so fiance puts up with it :D

I will try the needle thing. The piece inside is glued in, so idk about getting it out without breaking anything.
well if it's hot glue, all you have to do is heat it up again, if it's epoxy, then, well, i haven't figured out how to break that bond yet... and that's y the mod i made the modules come out - any mod i make will be either servicable or VERY difficult to ruin. throw away type stuff REALLY irritates me.

Wow! You DO win.

I have:
3 cockatiels (two were hatched from eggs in our home and we hand raised them)
1 parrot (who I've had for 23 years)
2 cats (had three but lost one last year)
1 dog (we just got her last year from a rescue, she was abused and has come such a long way since then)

I don't trust people who don't love animals either. Part of what drew me to my husband is that he also loved animals. That makes for a dangerous combination though as we both have zero self control when it comes to wanting more, more, more!

Bless all of you who rescue animals!

My cutest "pullet" started crowing about a week ago so I had to give him away :( Ive suspected he was a little roo for a while but was adamantly in denial until I caught then lil fellow pathetically trying to crow. I live in the middle of the city, so my very close neighbors would not have been happy about a new alarm clock.

so now I'm down to 4 chickens, 2 hairless cats, 2 super sweet (I suspect brother and sister, since they are identical and a really unusual color) stray cats that adopted me and never leave my yard, (It probably doesn't help that I built them an insulated cat house tho) and 3 fish :D

I <3 my pair of strays, after scolding them just a few times, they don't go near my chickens anymore, and they keep the other neighborhood strays out of my yard.
