For my entry post I figured I would show you all why I haven't been online as much the past few weeks...the newest addition to the family! His name is Monkey and he has been keeping me busy!
Weird, he looks EXACTLY like my cate Reuben and he is obsessed with laying in paper bags. Also boxes, he can't pass by a box without trying to get inside to lay in it.
Monkey looks like he is lots of fun. I hope you are enjoying your new family member.
Is anyone else stuck at work? This beautiful da is making it very hard to do anything.
Monkey loves boxes too! I made him two kitty condos out of big packaging boxes with cutout doors that he just loves! He has a huge cat tree/condo that I spent an arm and a leg for at the pet store that he doesn't even climb on...should have saved the cash and just bought more boxes!
Feisty is an understatement lol sometimes he can be a MONSTER! But he is at the vets today getting his man nuggets cut off so hopefully that will calm him down a bit haha
I don't know about your specific city, but I know several cities in WI are looking into changing their laws regarding backyard poultry. Write a letter to your state representative
This is King he was found wandering a Indian Reservation in Minnesota when he was 3 weeks old. He is my baby. They said as a Aussie he would be 45Lbs. He is now just over 100 and they think he might be mixed with something else (I am guessing horse).
aww that sucks. he needs his nuggets. the rest of the cats are gonna make fun of him now, lol
I raised chickens for the eggs and then I couldn't eat them. My hubby freaked when I went to the store and bought eggs. rofl. Also, pheasants until they ate each others butts and I freaked out again!! Now I just raise kids. (Children, that is)

oh my! I almost missed a contest.. I've been missing so much on here.. I saw a thread I am embarrassed to say I missed completely and feel horrible because I would have liked to chip in.. ugh.. I need to weed through all the threads on here.. I closed the Bed and Breakfast for the summer, should be smoother sailing now

He is very adorable, does look like one of our cats too!! Nice to see he is a black cat
.. one big reason why we have so many cats that stayed with us is cause over half are black and they are very hard to find homes for around here for some reason!! sad cause most of them turn out to be the most loving of them all.. Considering the topics of today in here, I find it quite funny that your kitty is named MONKEY lol ... didn't take long for the monkey to show back up!!
Just kidding............I don't like chicken.
