I purchased about a month ago a Z-Atty Universal. I would like to share my experiences as advice to newish genesis vapers, and old genesis vapers alike. The stock ZAU comes with a prebuilt coil and wick, which is 32GA kanthal 4/5 wraps, with 400 SS mesh. Ever since I got it, I have been fighting it, as it would either barely wick, and give my dry hits, to tilting it for a while dry sucking on it, and finally it would flood. Today, after a month's struggle, I said to the hell with it. I threw in 5/6 wrap with 500 Mesh, and I cannot tell you how much better it is wicking already. Even when the thing goes completely vertical, yes, it is still wicking quite well, as I only saw the top coil glow, and the rest were busy producing vapor. So, with 80/20 PG/VG juice, do use 500 mesh, instead of 400. I have not tried 500 with a higher VG blend, but I am sure that it will wick just as well.
