I carry my Vari along with a couple of filled carto tanks and spare batteries in a Maxpadition Fatty pocket. The elastic straps in the bag are firm enough to fire the device. So, it's either turn it off or take out the battery.

I was honestly thinking of getting a magazine type deal from Maxpedition. They do have some nice gear.
Also 10 hrs of pretty steady to heavy vaping with the AW 18490.
Using a 2.0 ohm head had it set anywhere from 3.7 to 4.2 impressive

If you find the 18490 batteries not lasting up to your vaping style, get the battery extension cap from Provape. It will allow you to use the longer lasting 18650 battery. The 18490 battery typically lasts me about 11 hours, the 18650 lasts me from morning until bedtime. The battery extension cap will add less than 1 inch length to your Provari for almost twice the battery duration.

Bad, which is smaller......full size provari w no extension cap, or mini provari with extension cap?

I ask because I have a friend who only wants to use 18490 batteries.

Provari w/o extension cap with a Mini with an extension cap. Pretty darn close.

So far I'm pretty happy with the Maxpadition stuff. We'll see how it holds up over time.

They hold up quite well. I tried running one into the ground before upsizing a touch. Over a year and it was still going strong. I finally gave up and just got the slightly larger version.

It won't let you down.
