And from what I can see, you're the only one who disagrees about the buzz from analogs. Most of us didn't get a buzz from our analogs unless it was in the morning or if we chain smoked a few.

I've been smoking for almost 40 years. Any "buzz" from analoga was so long ago that I can't remember.

I don't get a buzz from vaping, never have. I Couldn't quit with patches, gum, Zyban and I have been know to smoke while wearing a patch. I think part of it may have been the "hand to mouth" that vaping addresses.

Hedonistic? Really? Because I enjoy a full-bodied vape?

You also don't run barefoot in the grass, laugh till you can't breathe, or fall in love, do you?

Read through the link. Pay attention to the information about dopamine and MAOI's in cigarettes. Nicotine isn't the only aspect of smoking we were addicted to, and vaping these high strengths to make up for the missing piece of the puzzle can't be good for you.

Princessdee, I apologized for giving some of you a hard time in a previous post. I got jumped the SECOND I mentioned regulation, and I still think it should be addressed.

If you vape enough to get a buzz, you're getting more nicotine than you're adjusted to.
Based on the above quote, some of us are increasing the addiction to nicotine.
If/when we stop getting a buzz from our current liquid, who's to stop us from increasing the nicotine content (AGAIN)? *THIS IS WHY WE NEED REGULATION*

We didn't get a buzz from our analogs, and we don't need one from our e-cigs. We need to draw a line between satisfaction and being hedonistic.

60mg of nicotine is considered a lethal dose. The half life of nicotine is ~2 hours.

Well Seeing as I have had a cigarette or two since I have quit I can honestly say that cigarettes give me more of a buzz/head swoon than an E-cig has ever done.
I would also like to add that Davidoff LIGHTS are by far weaker than what I used to smoke, and by what you are saying are a hell of alot weaker than what I vape (36mg with 33% more flavoring), and yet.... I have to sit down if I have even so much as a drag off of one.

So explain that one. Or even better... just leave it. Apparently you are just trying to stir something...

Nicotine increases the production of dopamine. Dopamine makes you feel good, not the nicotine.
Cigarettes contain MAOI's, which slows down the degradation of dopamine. E-cigs do not contain MAOI's.
Being conscious of what can happen with too much nicotine is not "stirring something". Death by nicotine OD is a pretty crappy way to go out... look it up.

This is what I wanted... hard evidence. A study conducted/sponsored by the manufacturer isn't worth alot.

I've tried a couple cartridges worth of 36mg. I'd imagine the kick from the 48mg would make you put it down in a hurry.

honestly, i like the idea of self regulation. i wish everyone was smart enough to stop when they get a buzz.

but logically, someone is going to mess it up for everyone. that IS a good deal of nicotine and if/when something happens, it will be another strike against e-cigs.

If they aren't smart enough to self-regulate they shouldn't be smoking or using ecigs. All you do is want the government to take away more of our freedoms! They have taken from us enough,I for one do not need the government to walk me thru my day! I do not need them to tell me how to raise my kids,or I shouldn't have a gun or two to hunt or protect my family,or if I can smoke or not smoke and where I can smoke! Get it? After a while it becomes tedious with the government nannies telling us what we are allowed to do. I for one,do not buy from anybody that does not sell 36mg nic and higher.

i dont think you realize you are speaking for YOURSELF...i can chain vape 36mg all day no buzz...i cant remember the last analog buzz ive had, even after not smoking for 2 weeks due to being sick...with 48mg, i can vape it all day, just a little bit less often...and yes, i said a little bit, more like when im at work i bring 48mg and if im at home or the bar, then i bring 36mg or 48mg depending on what flavors im in the mood for

i understand you are trying to look out for peoples safety, but your experiences are not the same as everyone else on the planet

I have 2 unflavored 48's.. the one from Nhaler was truely unflavored the other was hmmm "nutty"? Also Nhaler's had more vapor and a thicker consistancy. I personally like it best cut.. I was nerve wracked about trying as 48 itself.. but I think I am going to make myself a little sampler for the morning and see how I do on it.
