I was drawb by the small size of the mod, as I assume many are.
I am generally happy with the mod, but for one thing.
The button.
Its crunchy as hell. I have read some posts in which users said that they had a smooth button.
How?
The shorter the throw the better it is, but it's still not up to spec.
I bought this mod to be a beater, to be used on the days at works that the Provari Mini is too big to be comfortable.
Dont get me wrong, i am not asking it to be as smooth as my GP or Super T's, but this thing actually sticks at times.

Thanks in advance for any help

Sorry, I should have listed what I have already done:
I cleaned, then buffed the tube and the button's edges using the finest grit rubbing compound and a Dremel buffing pad. The edges are so smooth its difficult to hold by the edges.
The interior of the tube wound up a mirror polish.
I then apied Noloax to the button and tube.
I have only had it for two days, and many metals will absorb lubricants into its pores.
To anyone who has had the mod for awhile - is there a break in period after which the the button is smoother?

For my 4Nine I'm using a flat top Sony VCT5s. I picked up some 1mm x 4mm spacer magnets and they work very well with it. These are just my experiance

-Reduced my throw.
-Because of the short throw no more metal to metal sound friction.
-Voltage drop was very minimal.
-Works very well with most atty's, drippers.... (note: If you have a devise with a long positive 510 it may not work. It may fire upon screwing it down, so be careful.)

These magnets are a great addition to any vapor tool kit. I hope this helps you Chelonian.

I had the same wonky button problem that got stuck on the edge and needed pushing straight to pop back out.

This might not be your problem but I had the little spare magnet in the wrong place!

The little magnet was on the bottom of the switch (inside the bit you press), I moved it to the bottom of the other bit of the button so its now on the bottom if the battery.

Battery-little magnet-inside button bit-press button bit.

I usually just leave the little magnet and inside button bit on the battery in my battery box and only leave the press bit of the button in the bottom of the tube.

it's no longer catching or wonky :)
