Best mechanical mod button you've ever had? (on the hunt)

Paps. No Question.

Ive been using my Paps V3 and my Paps X side by side for a little while now, the Paps X about 2 weeks longer than the V3 but..

I think I like the button on the X more.

They both throw SOoOoOoO smoothly, very short, and both can sit down without firing. I guess I lean towards the Paps X button because it isn't reccesed, and the way I hold the mod works better with a non recessed?

Listen dont get me wrong though.. that V3 switch is heavenly.

Panzer. Smooth firing button, recessed, with a soft lock ring, it's so smooth you would never guess its a spring and not a magnet.

get a GP PAPS 2.5 barely have to touch the firing button and it fires

GP Paps for sure. Just sold mine as I didn't use it much, too afraid to scratch it.

For clones, I like the chi you clone.

I love the GP Paps mods, and they have the best buttons around (as evidenced by prior posts in the thread and others). I prefer the GP Paps v3 button to the v2.5. The v3 button is recessed and can stand up unlocked without firing. The v2.5 button is more flush, and all it takes is an uneven surface or a grain of salt for it to fire unlocked standing up. Some people don't like the look of the v3 button, but it's fine by me. The GP Paps X button is also great, but doesn't have that feather touch.

unlike what someone mentioned above, i have the atomo v2 and can say the button is less than perfect.

some days its fine, others its crunchy and likes to short out on the locking ring.

PAPS all the way. I prefer the PapsX though the button is not recessed. You get 3 springs for different tensions depending on how you like it.

I think that the button is a bit stiff and there's too wide of a gap when it's locked, but otherwise is cool (and a smaller voltage drop compared to earlier Gus switches).

I personally love the switch on the Pegasus I just picked up yesterday... Smooth, magnetic, can stand up unlocked, and doesn't take many spins to lock it. Its an all copper mod also.
Only thing is that is it is not recessed, and they only are making 500 of them ever lol or so they say..

I like the spring that came in it but if you have one you should have received different springs for adjustments.

+1 on the Paps. Also the Nzonic has a similar button, slightly longer throw but you can stand it up without it firing

Love the button on my GUS Lord, no springs or magnets, they use ball bearings in their switches. Very nice feel to it!
