Nanos Single tube | mmvapors.com

Check out the Nanos from MMVapors. It is a new bottom switch mod from the makers of the Poldiac. It has a new type switch that both works and locks with it's magnets and the switch is only 7mm tall, with all but 2.5mm inside the tube. It locks by turning only a few degrees of rotation. This is a very short mod, with a 18350 battery it is only 53mm long.
This mod will ship in about three weeks and they are taking orders at the present time.
I have a polished brass 18650 version on order.

There's a thread here on the clone of the gp. Sounds like it has a decent switch for a clone. Just in case the price of an original exceeds you finances.

Nah I'm willing to drop a few bones, especially if it's worth it. I saw the clone on ebay recently, only for 18500 mode though...meh. I don't like the tiny little tubes.

Nice, the thorin looks sweet, satin stainless with polished top and bottom caps. I've had my eye on the original poldiac I've heard they are the easiest button, I like the bottom design though, side firers are "flashlight-looking". I've never cared much for brass because of the "bling" look, and I'm a hippy when it comes to lead in my mods, but I have to admit the telchar looks shibby with the brass caps.

I personally love the switch on the Pegasus I just picked up yesterday... Smooth, magnetic, can stand up unlocked, and doesn't take many spins to lock it. Its an all copper mod also.
Only thing is that is it is not recessed, and they only are making 500 of them ever lol or so they say..

:drools: that's so freaking cool, but not for 450$, I saw on olympic's website they were 180, is that what you paid? I'm thinking about pre-ordering if it's 180.

-Also if you like homemade copper mods, I made an amazing one myself (tooting my own horn here but it's true :p) check it out :

I had a custom alloy made from 99% copper, 1% Silver in a 22mm solid billet and hollowed/threaded it myself to fit my copper stingray (favorite switch yet) switch, the best part though; 101% conductivity! Yes it's possible lol because of the silver content, and it has the purdiest light copper color with a hint of silver luster. I can't believe it turned out looking this good, and having a .8 volt drop 8D.

-Even better yet it was sent to an engraver in town to have some tibetan writing (ohm mani padme hum, meditation mantra) engraved, along with my name in tibetan as well.
This is my design and will be going on both sides of the body:

And this is designed by a tibetan artist I know for the bottom cap (which is also copper):

(it's the "circle of life" in tibetan culture, or literally translated "cyclic existence".
And finally my name (Patrick) in tibetan written opposing the mantra on the body on both sides.

-I'm so freakin pumped to see the final result, it's basically my perfect mod (for my preferences), copper that doesn't tarnish/oxidize, above 100% conductivity, low as hell volt drop, and the best magnetic button I've experience yet (with all pure silver contacts). I'd be happy to make one for anyone on ECF (for a price ).

For my clones... my Chi-You will do the trick. For my high ends... It's all about how you adjust the switch really in my opinion. The Copper Vanilla button is pretty smooth for being spring loaded, plus it's a telescopic top fire, copper, and a fairly generous size.

The locking is smooth and reverse threaded, and I much prefer the second variation, which has the Smok-E Mountain logo as opposed to VANILLA, which is what stopped me from getting it before. Also, the button CAN be recessed, if you adjust it right ;)

My BioMech Gen 2 only really matches your recessed button and stainless steel needs.

My absolute favorite is my Mirandus, however, just got it today. Throw isn't reversed, but it's a really stylized piece in my opinion, everything is adjustable, from whether you want magnets or spring as they give you both, spring top pin or adjusting as you get both, and you even get to engrave something on there or pick your color scheme. All for 240.

However, bit out of your price range, the latter two are, but if you're will to spend an extra 65, the Copper Vanilla is brilliant, I love mine. But these are the only three authentics I have, but as someone suggested before, the Stingray is brilliant, and I enjoy my Chi-You. But between the two... I'd pick the Stingray, just because of the patina it develops

Mirandus is a sexy unit

the heimdall also has a very very easy fire button. it is ridiculous. you have to lock it before you set it down though. it will most certainly fire if its not locked. it is a proper pinky switch, i mean seriously the throw is about the same as the thickness of a piece of paper. no im not kidding. but i still prefer my stingrays, they use magnets. threads are absolutely smooth and it is a silent mod. no noise from threading anything, no noise when pushing the switch or unlocking it.

I love my Paps 2.5... but ... but... I've since become the owner of 4 MMVapor Nanos. Or, 3 and a half as I only have 3 top caps and use a Nemesis hybrid adapter on the last.

The Nanos has displaced most of my mods. Short mod, smooth button. Locking mechanism puts other mods to shame. Truly one handed locking. One fingered, even. What I really like about how the button works, is that it's "rim-fire". Rest your pinky on the rim of it and press. It will fire. With the ease of locking, you can have a non-recessed, light-press button with a very short throw. You do have to lock it to set it down, but locking is more a pleasure than a hazzle.

... this is quite odd for me, as I'm not a big fan of buying duplicates of any gear. I'd rather try different stuff. Still, the Nanos has been a game changer for me.

Agreed. There are only 3 devices I own duplicates of. Nemesis (3) GP Paps (2) and the MM Nanos (2).
