Grandson Zack got to spend Christmas at home.

Voice in the distance, call in the night,
On wind you enfold us, you speak of the light.
Gentle on the ear you whisper softly,
Rumors of a dawn so embracing
Breathless love awaits darkened souls--
Soon, will we know of the morning.

Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love's pure light,
Radiant beams from
Thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Grandson Zack got to spend Christmas at home. His liver cancer apparently has receded greatly. Tomorrow it's back to the hospital for 3 days of chemo. The little guy is going to be miserable, but this will be the worst of the chemo, although he'll have one more easier, one day chemo later.
It peaked at 87 deg here for Xmas, a new record.
That is such good news BLT! Praying for little Zack during this tough round of chemo. He's such a sweetie. 87 degrees on Christmas Day? Wow.

All warm officially gone here. Someone needs to tell sassy just how much mommy is not a morning person, especially when it's cold.

Morning y'all, hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had a lot of lovely times, just overwhelmed and exhausted from it all. Definitely got spoiled this year more than I expected :) then last night I got my car stuck in a muddy ditch, so I'm hoping to talk the hubs into spoiling one more time for a 4wd.

Xoxoxo everyone. Glad it's all over so I can come hang out again :)

I'm still smiling over the news of Zack.
:)
Thanks Dave. Also the ENT Doctor said his traech cartilage is developing well. Maybe in a few months the traech, oxygen, ventilator and feeding tube will be removed. We will then be able to hear him laugh (and cry) and he can eat real food.

AArrrgh.

Note: there is no such thing as a simple plumbing repair on an old house. A poorly done joint was leaking. I was going to loosen it, clean the threads and reconnect and be done. Ha! The threaded part is rotted and broke. Now I need parts, and I can't find my big pipe wrench!!

My neighbor is a plumber. I'll owe him.
