No that's from today. We've had tons of rain and that helped, but remember with bulbs first year is planting, second year for growing, third year for blooming, and fourth year is spreading. Hopefully the winter didn't kill yours off, but winters are only getting worse so if it did you might have to change what varieties you use

There's something about her hand holding mine
It's a feeling so fine that I just gotta say
She's really got a magical spell
And it's working so well that I can't get away

I'm a lucky fella and I've just got to tell her
That I love her endlessly
Oh 'cause love grows where my always goes
And nobody knows like me

I did the spare bathroom last year. It looks really nice now. But it took me a long time. I had to finish off the molding in several places. Trying to find stuff that matches was not fun. Redoing the window was a killer, inside and out. it had several layers of chipped and peeling paint, going back to the 85yr original.

If it's just the walls, it would have been easy. But the chair rail took time. I hate cutting angles.

But the wife is happy. That's everything!

:)

I redid a bathroom a couple of years ago. at my dad's. We used a new (-ish) flooring material called "Marmoleum", which was a bit of a chore to put in, but the results were impressive. It's not cheap, but it's very durable.

Long good day.

Went to play at a Revival at the Methodist church. This catholic boy was just wide-eyed at all of it.

Our band played and did pretty good, since we couldn't get a practice in before. My nice Marshal amp still isn't working (after working perfectly at home for the last 2 days, Grrrr!!!) But my little practice amp did it's job. Sounds good clean, but the dirty gain channel is too distorted. The singers were in good voice, the mix sounded good, and the crowd was enthusiastic.

Then a 10 person Gospel Choir from Hartford sang. Very good, I was impressed. (and I'm not really into Gospel, but wow could they sing!)

Next was a 6 person steel drum group up from the Bronx. Their van broke down on the way, so they were late. But wow, what an amazing sound, everyone playing 2 drums, but they sounded so together. as if they were one. A beautiful sounding group.

All in all, a nice Friday night.

:)
