Camping for the weekend again
Camping for the weekend again
It's hot and sunny here. We were going to head up to the mountains for camping but the weather seems a bit too sketchy and we don't have all our gear in proper order. So we are going to take a day trip tomorrow for treasure hunting at a geocache site and gold digging on Monday instead. This afternoon I will be putting some cuttings in a pot as a sympathy gift for my friend/ co-worker who had a sudden death in her family and taking that over to her. After it cools down later this afternoon The Mr and I are going to set up the tent and waterproof it.
Close to a perfect day here. Sun, no clouds, low 80s, low humidity. We stopped at our favorite hot dog truck. But they have a small plot of land and set up picnic tables and umbrellas. And with a griddle and a deep frier what's not to love. Homemade beer batter onion rings are like the halos of angels!!! and burgers, fries, root beer floats, mmmmmmmmm.

Their normal warranty is only 7 days but he said they should last a lot longer than 2 months. The guy was really nice about it
Evening all, dropped kid off at concert then wife and I went to a town in long island called freeport that has a nautical mile. Had a nice romantic dinner on the water. Now we are at dairy queen for the jurassic blizzard dessert. Then off to Jones beach to pic up daughter.
