I hope we'll be able to see it. It's been so cloudy here....ugh. Ok, I'm a bit cheerier now. The infamous 'label reader' went to the store without me! Hooray!!!! I  my hunter/gatherer :).
Hey, I give him big props. He did hunt and gather you.

It was amazing. Getting darker and darker, then the sliver of bright was gone, and just a dark red marble in the sky, peeking out from some clouds. I even busted out my telescope for a view. Not much detail seen on the moon, better at a half moon, when you get the shadows. But the cool thing was seeing the faint stars around the moon. Usually these are totally washed out by the brightness.

Clouds covered the "coming out of" the totality, but I did see it at about 75% to over. Really nice.

Morning y'all! Definitely too cloudy in Ohio to see any kind of moon. The full moon has brought out the crazies though

Roof is done. Another 2-3 weeks before they start the siding. Crews are all busy with other jobs. Burned house still stands (and stinks with the rain last night)

Rain should be heading your way on the east coast, although we didn't get a huge amount it was enough to wet everything.

@Ladiekali I haven't tried the g6 pcc. I did have one from smokeless image that was a very similar one and it worked when it worked, but after a couple months didn't hold a charge at all so didn't help. Halo's may be better, its worth a shot? How old is the g6 battery you're using? If its around 7 months to a year old it may be draining faster because of its age, could be time to consider replacing it.

Xoxoxo y'all!

thanks, no my battery length is fine. was just wondering about it for like camping and power outages. they are doing a road construction project in my back yard. i'm finding myself using my G6 setup more and more. which is really funny with a family of provari's, reo's and innokins.

and angi, i've been gone a few months, what is this about a zippo?
