It finally happened. We are out of water. The level in the well is below the pickup tube. We average over 4 in of rain per month, but we've had under 2 for Aug, Sept and Oct. I thought we'd run out before this.

I'll talk with my neighbor who has a deep well, over 200 ft. The lady who lived there helped me out last time, about 15 years ago. We ran a hose from their house to my house, but the pressure was weak. I rigged a temp 250 gal tank in the basement. Looks as if I'll hafta do that again, as there is little rain in the forecast. Prayers and rain dances are more than welcome...
