That's what it's about, always. Good friends good drinks good times. Just add good food and good music and it's golden.

:)

And the drink sounds mmmmnnnnnnn. Did you do a caramel rim? The wife likes to make an apple cider vodka drink, and coats the rim of the glass in caramel. Sometimes big crystal sugar, brown sugar or salt.
(not her pic...)

I have a bad feeling someone at the post office in Gainesville, FL stole my Reactor kit. Item was picked up from Halo 16 November and has yet to leave the post office. I should know more later tonight/tomorrow morning. Son of a gun! I really need my jazz plus, it takes two to three weeks to get mail from the States... ARGH!!!

Come on. If there were any sort of incompetence found in the Gainesville Post Office, that individual would quickly be promoted and transferred to Kearney.

How are you tracking it? (I don't want the tracking number... that's private!)

The USPS tracking system has been HORRENDOUS lately... Having things depart from one side of the country, then nothing for 4 days, then jumping to delivered without a notice in between.

Tracking it through USPS's website (Tracking Number: 8675309). USPS wasn't able to help me out much; the ultimate destination is an APO/FPO and as such, I have to submit an official inquiry with the Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA). Unfortunately, I can't submit an inquiry until 16 days have passed from initial shipment. Then, MPSA can do a thorough investigation to see what's the deal. If it's MIA, I have to wait 45 days before I can file a claim. Pretty sure it was stolen as, back in 2005, there was an issue with the sorters in San Fransisco pilfering packages destined for troops in Iraq (easy to identify since the packages were destined for APO AE). Since it takes so long before anyone realizes something is amiss, the thieves can do pretty good for themselves before needing to bounce.

Someone going through and stealing items from packages for our service men and woman need to have their butts kicked!!!!! That is horrific and completely disgusting to hear
